@Professor_Plumber Lego has a social media app for kids.

2013 was 10 years ago, you will never get those back.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Oh, well it's great then. As for making music, it's kinda like drawing, you think it's very easy and then you start doing it. In other words, it's too complicated for you to even know how complicated it is before you try.

@MarioLover92 Mario Penguins or even regular penguins. If I saw one shredding down the street, the first thing I'd think would probably be "what was in that coffee?!" and the second would be "that's so cool!"

@Owl1 I think it's not 10 years old, since 2010 the world is in this weird time loop, there is no way 10 years passed. it's 2 at the very best.

  • any shotty horror tonight? (I enjoy the mid tier horrors, they calm me)
  • yeah, it's on right now - points at TV with the football game on

I loved that.

@ComfyAko Me too.
@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Yup, for a couple of days I had to use a phone to post here, until I get it fixed I've just stolen one of the spare notebooks no one in our houses uses.

@TeaCatherine Help I reinstalled Overwatch 2 for the 7th time and it's already noon of the first day of the weekend and I've done nothing but wondered where the puck is my team

@Owl1 They went 72 times around the world (4x18) in the duration of that song. My favorite is from Touch

"Touch, sweet touch
You've given me too much to feel
Sweet touch
You've almost convinced me I'm real"

@ComfyAko Who knows? So, you're the babysitter of the team, right?

@TeaCatherine yeah, as always, 5v5 matches end up in the same way. Either I do everything, or it will not be done. I'm limiting myself to 1 match per day most, though because I need to grind other things too, like books, exercising, drawing, learning Japanese, anime, etc. I have no idea how humans can get bored with only 24 hours per day.

I'm currently searching for the best summer movies, already watched Drifting Home and Bubble recently

@ComfyAko I don't know, it probably has something to with how much stuff there is and having to find the good amongst the piles of rubbish.

@TeaCatherine That is also true.

For instance, it saddens me greatly that not many people nowadays remember about the marvelous stories of Philip Dick, which grant you hours upon hours of unforgetable journeys through abstract ideas, concepts that invigorate the mind. Either that or they dismiss them as "too hard" and prefer to intoxicate themselves with various poisons.

@ComfyAko Oh, I meant to read some of his books at some point.

Princess_Lilly

@TeaCatherine I suggest you start with his short story compilations. I started with "Short Happy Life of the Brown Oxford"

@Rambler I mean he is well renowned, it's just that common people don't read even simple books, and they steer clear of anything challenging, so Dick's books don't sell as well as mediocre crab like some celebrity's biography or THUG

@Professor_Plumber yeah, he's the one!

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Don't worry it takes weeks to make a song sometimes. The movie soundtracks are about 1 h long, and they aren't written overnight.

@Rambler what I mean is, one is a superb masterpiece that makes you imagine endless scenarios and encourage you to think about complex matters, and the other one is a subpar amatourish string of text that got promoted to the rank of a bestseller because of politics (it encoruages racism). And for one copy of the masterpiece, 100 copies of toilet paper are sold

I've never seen Blade Runner, I only read the book. Is it worth it at this point?

Also, because I have brown eyes, I always assumed my brother (Troy, gotta specify) had brown eyes too. But the other day, we were looking at a poll about eye color, and he said "Is there and option for blue and green?" and I just went "Wait your eyes are blue" "Yeah"

@ComfyAko Yeah, I'm impatient as all heck and want to get my songs done as fast as possible so that my undiagnosed ADHD brain can go do something else.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko I have that feeling way more often than I would have liked to. Just relax and focus on the task at hand.
