@JONOFTHEJONS IIRC Cluedo is the original name. The name I'm more familiar with was a localization change way back when.

@Eagly Yeah, I haven't played Xenosaga or Xenogears and I don't know where people draw the line between arc-welding and shout outs but no character designs are used so surely the fact that Bandai Namco is in the copyright information means something? To be honest, I have no clue.
I feel like if they fused the battle systems of Xenoblade and a musou game I might be able to enjoy the gameplay, but even if they didn't, heartwarming moments would sell it for me.
I find the whole Linka and Panacea thing kind of hilarious because they appear even in the final battle but don't do anything, much like for the rest of the game.

Also, on this subject, it's technically to thank for all my interests for many years as I got into gaming 'cause of the Lego games.

@TeaCatherine Lego are for everyone and they feel nice when you build with them. Also, when you build a tiny plane, you can put a tiny pilot in a tiny cockpit and imagine that they are in a safe, comfortable, cozy place, doing what they love

@Eagly Heck, even Mythra and Pyra were never mentioned by name. Why would Riku be committing war crimes? Yeah, I think the other Xeno-franchises are going to come up again, here's another reference you probably missed but may have heard about, so you know that cutscene at the beginning of chapter 10 of 2? Those Saviourite rebels are apparently just a mistranslation of the name of a faction from Xenosaga lead by that Dmitri guy. Yeah, what you mentioned in terms of gameplay for a Xenoblade warriors is pretty much what I suggested when talking to my brother about the prospect the other day, I honestly think they could make a warriors with a good battle system if they tried hard enough but as you said I care more about seeing small-scale interactions between the existing casts.
I heard that earlier in this gen a remaster of Xenosaga was greenlit but it got cancelled, but I don't know if it was true.
Also, my sister is now threatening to write fanfiction of Dirk and Tora just to get revenge on me for talking about Xenoblade too much. G'night.
