@Owl1 It is very clear how sincerely sorry you are what with the use of quotations on sorry and how you're emphasising that you were the real victim all along but maybe the best way to move on from it is to stop bringing it up every few days...

@TeaCatherine I don't know, hatred follows me like a curse, that's why I'm a little bit wary of people

@Eel sure, but as I said, there was nothing wrong with my comment, so the question is whether it's within someone's rights to see that another person is vulnerable and abuse the report system out of pure malice

@jump am I overreacting, yes. Am I gonna stop, yes. Am I good at self-control, not really. Will I get better, yes.

@ComfyAko Trust me whenever something is reported someone has to look at it, and they need to decide if it’s appropriate to delete it or not, I have gotten stuff deleted for misunderstandings, but I don’t think it’s because someone reported me, and if they did well. Or a time I might have gotten a little too personal with one of the site members, I think that was worth a take down or at least they thought so, whoever it was.

@Owl1 I will miss you ): This time, let me grab the door for you to make up kicking you out in the cold last time.

@Kraid The reason for your headache with 2 switches and one eshop account is because, Nintendo's switch ecosystem doesn't want 2+ people freely sharing digital games & NSO access across multiple consoles. The multiple console system is designed for one owner to have one at-home console and a secondary console for on-the-go, where only one console is used at a time. If you want freedom & simplicity, my best advice is one switch per person. And each switch have it's own account.

I've seen one or two people here mention how they share switches in a household, and the caveats for how they do it would never work for me (or most people). I'm sorry I don't have better advice. I won't claim to be an authority, but after six years of the switch, I've never seen a solution to sharing games across consoles without a caveat. I purposely didn't reply on your thread question because I hope it will encourage someone else to try and answer, in case someone has a better answer to suit your situation.

There are literally only a few other people here that will give you a helpful answer. So, you might have to wait while before they see your thread, if you get an answer at all.

@ComfyAko I'm sure it probably isn't as bad as you think. Do you ever feel like what the other person thinks of as a conversation feels like an interrogation? Plus, in these so called "conversations" I can't ever bring myself to say anything I think will stir up a fuss.

@ComfyAko I might be wrong, but I don't think anyone here knows you enough to develop malice or hatred towards you.

I didn’t remove your comment myself, but I think I did manage to read it. I don't know what was your honest intention behind it, but it came off as just random generalized negativity… so perhaps that made someone uncomfortable.

@Snatcher I think it's even worse if you consider at least 2 people not connected in any way wanted to treat someone that way just because. I mean that is definitely more than a little hostile.

@TeaCatherine yeah, I get that feeling sometimes. Right now it feels more like when they want you to leave but nobody bothers to tell it straight because it could get awkward.

@Eel Yeah the context behind it was that I was just put down by some people for a good deed and I even made sure that there were no swear words, no insults towards any individual, no way to honestly look at it as a reportable comment, but I forgot that people would instantly prey on any vulerability, . I actually thought there would be no malice or hatred here, and that it's a pretty chill place.

@ComfyAko it seems to me like you’re currently going through something and need an outlet to express your feelings and decompress. Just be aware that people will not always be willing to put up with negativity.

Repeating a mantra of malice, will eventually conjure it… so to speak.

@ComfyAko Who knows why they reported it, maybe they the content made them feel uncomfortable, but to that I say they just shouldn’t read it, or they felt like it didn’t fit the site, ether way the mods look at it, and agreed it didn’t fit the site, though I didn’t see it so I have no real way of knowing,

Well, that was an off week. Not off as in bad, off as in weird. Kept waiting for something important to come and I didn't want to miss the delivery. On a brighter side of things, I did get Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 and completed the game. So if there's anything good, there's that. Combine both of these, and I was gone for a good week to enjoy a newly bought game and waiting for this package to come.

I wanted to play the follow-up to Dark Forces and got it during GOG's Star Wars sale. Good game.

Onto some rather late replies...

Oh, speaking about Sailor Moon 90's anime, which season do you like?
I like the season 3 with new Sailor Senshi: Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn in mission to stop Death Buster with Professor Tomoe, Kaolinite, Witches 5 and Mistress 9 to summon Pharaoh 90 to destroy the world with silence.

I think most I've seen were the original US dub of the first two seasons when they were on TV. Hard for me to pick between the two since I like them both. IIRC, the original US dub called ChibiUsa Rini. I just have the first season on DVD, but it's the updated dub with Japanese and subtitles.

@Sunsy I naturally progressed to Super Mario Galaxy after playing the other two Super Mario 3D All-Stars offerings earlier this year; it was mostly a coincidence lol. Galaxy is the game I needed the least since I still own my Wii copy, but it's been fun revisiting it on a more modern console. Even if the Dusty Dune Galaxy's speed comet repeatedly tapped my rage meter a few times this morning.

The next closest theater is an AMC theater. It's fairly decent but normally isn't worth driving to unless I'm in the area. I prefer shopping and buying local when I can lol. I certainly appreciate why purists like subbed anime and used to watch some of it as well. But it's very hard for me to both process the action and read what's going on; I often have to rewind a bit in more action-packed sequences to catch all that's going on. I usually go the dubbed route unless the VA work is obnoxiously bad. Though I don't get to a lot of anime these days and usually scratch that itch with the occasional manga volume.

Cool, I noticed you playing Super Mario 3D All-Stars recently too. That's nice. I think I rented Super Mario Galaxy 2 when it was new, but never owned any of the games until I got 3D All-Stars.

AMC is where I live is like five minutes away. Honestly, I have more fond memories of the two theaters I saw Trolls World Tour in last summer. I reminded me of a time when my family and I had to go out of town to enjoy a movie. The trip and going to see the movie, it makes it more special compared to just simply going to the local theater. Plus one of those theaters wasn't part of a chain, and opened in 1926. To see Trolls World Tour in such an old theater was really a nice experience. It did close a few months to change carpeting and seats, it's really nice to see they're keeping it around. Both sub and dub is good in my book, I like both.

@Sunsy I still played my GBA for a good few years after the DS came out. Though I think I played my DS a bit more at that time, but I'd always play on my GBA SP for the GBA games since I wasn't a fan of how they felt on the DS. Since the DS's buttons couldn't be remapped for GBA. The last GBA game that I got while it was still around was Mega Man Battle Network 6. I didn't get Sonic 1 for the GBA, that was the only Sonic GBA game I didn't get. Shifting gears back to MMBN, I think the Legacy Collection came out recently. You'd probably like playing it, honestly. I recall that Mega Man 2 was the one MM game you've played, though the Battle Network games are more like action RPGs.
Yeah it could very well be a display driver problem. I did hear that I could uninstall the driver, but that sounds kinda risky... I don't want to lose it for good. I'm sure there's a way to reinstall the same driver to potentially fix that glitching issue, I would just have to do a little research I guess. I did disable a few plug-ins last time I used my laptop.

MarioLover92 wrote:

@Sunsy Yeah... it's been happening again. Even with the Microsoft driver which I clearly had installed. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the Intel driver, but it didn't work. So then I thought something must be wrong with the laptop itself, and I was right. I plugged in the HDMI cable to see if the glitches would be mirrored... turns out the glitches only appear on the laptop monitor itself, and not the TV I was trying out.
This really sucks... I was so close, and I was really looking forward to getting Tears of the Kingdom. I guess I'm gonna have to get my laptop screen repaired somehow, or at least in the future since I can at least use my TV as an alternate monitor.

I played my GBA well into the 3DS and Switch's lifespan. I still remember going to see Frozen 2, with a GBA in my pocket, was playing Sonic Battle a lot and I couldn't play it on any other handheld I had at the time. Cool, never played Mega Man Battle Network, but I do remember seeing it on some sites at the time. IIRC, the last new GBA game I bought was Charlotte's Web. Just found it at Five Below in like 2016, and decided to buy it. During its heyday, I think it was Cars Mater-National in 2008, which was a fun little 3D racer based off the movie. Sonic 1 GBA was a surprise gift from mom, I went to buy Sonic Advance 3 summer of 2007, and then mom decided to get me that one because I like Sonic. It's a nice surprise. Those I got late into the GBA's life.

Yeah, I wouldn't know about a laptop, on my old desktop, I had to uninstall graphic drivers when updating my graphic drivers. Usually it was uninstall the old one, restart, then install the new one and restart. I haven't done this on my laptops. I remember it would use a very basic video driver that wasn't as fast just to get the job done. I never liked updating graphic drivers back then, sometimes it might break something. At least in my experience, I had to try different Radeon 9600 drivers just to find one that didn't freeze up on me. At least I haven't had that issue with my newer computers (one laptop has a newer Radeon chip in it), it was hit or miss on my old desktop until I found one that didn't freeze and restart the driver (not restart the PC).

It seems to be a hardware issue, hope you get it repaired. That's why I said try to plug it into a monitor or TV, if it repeats there, then it's a software issue. Hope it works out.

@Sunsy That's cool, it's been so long since I played Sonic Battle. I don't think I ever took one of my handhelds to a theater, I would just come in, watch the movie I want, and head back. Though waiting for those previews was kind of testing my patience, lol. I know why they do it, but it seems to take longer than it should. I wanna see the movie already! lol

I remember seeing a sort of mini guide for Mega Man Battle Network 2 on one of my Nintendo Power magazines back then, that's how I first heard about the series. I was kind of late to the series however, I got the white version of MMBN3 on Christmas of 2005, IIRC. That was the first Battle Network game I've played. I did get Sonic Advance 3 the year it came out, 2004. Same with the other two games since I was huge into Sonic at the time.

Ah I see, that sounds like a similar procedure when I was trying to reinstall my display adapters. I've recently updated my graphics card by just going to the Nvidia website and installing whatever was the latest version, so I think it's a more streamlined process now. Thanks, I hope so too. I'll see what I can do.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, at the time there was a bit of a ride because mom and I went for lunch afterwards, so I had my GBA. Frozen 2 was the movie and then lunch. I like previews when they're something I'm looking forward to, like the Trolls Band Together trailer.

Wow, funny you bring up Nintendo Power, I found an issue awhile back with Mickey Mouse on the cover. Haven't flipped through it, but I do remember those mini-guides. Cool, I got Sonic Advance 3 late, I did get Sonic Advance on release, and the second game on my birthday in 2003, since it was close to release.

Yeah, it was a bit more work back then. Though haven't tried updating my graphics for my current laptop, I heard it's more streamlined. You're welcome.

Thanks. From what I can see, what I want to do is actually not THAT complicated, even Nintendo have a reasonably thorough Help article on game-sharing (e.g. two consoles sharing the same library of digital games) where both consoles may be in use at the same time but playing different games. It is somewhat restricted in that the non-primary device will have to be online when playing games so it needs an internet connection to be able to validate the game / user. What makes it a LOT easier is playing physical disc games where there are zero restrictions of that type. What makes much harder (but even then, still possible) is when two people want to play the same digital game at the same time on two consoles sharing the same account. There's lots of articles out there (particularly with regard to Animal Kingdoms: New Horizons), some way clearer than others, about how that can be done as well so I won't reiterate the solution here. But that's not currently something we need to do. In all honesty though, if we ever did need to play the same game at the same time I'd just buy a second copy, disc based most likely.
