@ComfyAko I might be wrong, but I don't think anyone here knows you enough to develop malice or hatred towards you.

I didn’t remove your comment myself, but I think I did manage to read it. I don't know what was your honest intention behind it, but it came off as just random generalized negativity… so perhaps that made someone uncomfortable.

@Snatcher I think it's even worse if you consider at least 2 people not connected in any way wanted to treat someone that way just because. I mean that is definitely more than a little hostile.

@TeaCatherine yeah, I get that feeling sometimes. Right now it feels more like when they want you to leave but nobody bothers to tell it straight because it could get awkward.

@Eel Yeah the context behind it was that I was just put down by some people for a good deed and I even made sure that there were no swear words, no insults towards any individual, no way to honestly look at it as a reportable comment, but I forgot that people would instantly prey on any vulerability, . I actually thought there would be no malice or hatred here, and that it's a pretty chill place.

@ComfyAko it seems to me like you’re currently going through something and need an outlet to express your feelings and decompress. Just be aware that people will not always be willing to put up with negativity.

Repeating a mantra of malice, will eventually conjure it… so to speak.

@ComfyAko Who knows why they reported it, maybe they the content made them feel uncomfortable, but to that I say they just shouldn’t read it, or they felt like it didn’t fit the site, ether way the mods look at it, and agreed it didn’t fit the site, though I didn’t see it so I have no real way of knowing,

@Eel And it would seem my feeling was right on the spot. Sorry I didn't catch on later, but then again, there was no need to beat around the bush

@TeaCatherine you were the one that asked me for the friend code one day, right?

@Sunsy That's cool, it's been so long since I played Sonic Battle. I don't think I ever took one of my handhelds to a theater, I would just come in, watch the movie I want, and head back. Though waiting for those previews was kind of testing my patience, lol. I know why they do it, but it seems to take longer than it should. I wanna see the movie already! lol

I remember seeing a sort of mini guide for Mega Man Battle Network 2 on one of my Nintendo Power magazines back then, that's how I first heard about the series. I was kind of late to the series however, I got the white version of MMBN3 on Christmas of 2005, IIRC. That was the first Battle Network game I've played. I did get Sonic Advance 3 the year it came out, 2004. Same with the other two games since I was huge into Sonic at the time.

Ah I see, that sounds like a similar procedure when I was trying to reinstall my display adapters. I've recently updated my graphics card by just going to the Nvidia website and installing whatever was the latest version, so I think it's a more streamlined process now. Thanks, I hope so too. I'll see what I can do.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, at the time there was a bit of a ride because mom and I went for lunch afterwards, so I had my GBA. Frozen 2 was the movie and then lunch. I like previews when they're something I'm looking forward to, like the Trolls Band Together trailer.

Wow, funny you bring up Nintendo Power, I found an issue awhile back with Mickey Mouse on the cover. Haven't flipped through it, but I do remember those mini-guides. Cool, I got Sonic Advance 3 late, I did get Sonic Advance on release, and the second game on my birthday in 2003, since it was close to release.

Yeah, it was a bit more work back then. Though haven't tried updating my graphics for my current laptop, I heard it's more streamlined. You're welcome.

@Kraid The reason for your headache with 2 switches and one eshop account is because, Nintendo's switch ecosystem doesn't want 2+ people freely sharing digital games & NSO access across multiple consoles. The multiple console system is designed for one owner to have one at-home console and a secondary console for on-the-go, where only one console is used at a time. If you want freedom & simplicity, my best advice is one switch per person. And each switch have it's own account.

I've seen one or two people here mention how they share switches in a household, and the caveats for how they do it would never work for me (or most people). I'm sorry I don't have better advice. I won't claim to be an authority, but after six years of the switch, I've never seen a solution to sharing games across consoles without a caveat. I purposely didn't reply on your thread question because I hope it will encourage someone else to try and answer, in case someone has a better answer to suit your situation.

There are literally only a few other people here that will give you a helpful answer. So, you might have to wait while before they see your thread, if you get an answer at all.

Thanks. From what I can see, what I want to do is actually not THAT complicated, even Nintendo have a reasonably thorough Help article on game-sharing (e.g. two consoles sharing the same library of digital games) where both consoles may be in use at the same time but playing different games. It is somewhat restricted in that the non-primary device will have to be online when playing games so it needs an internet connection to be able to validate the game / user. What makes it a LOT easier is playing physical disc games where there are zero restrictions of that type. What makes much harder (but even then, still possible) is when two people want to play the same digital game at the same time on two consoles sharing the same account. There's lots of articles out there (particularly with regard to Animal Kingdoms: New Horizons), some way clearer than others, about how that can be done as well so I won't reiterate the solution here. But that's not currently something we need to do. In all honesty though, if we ever did need to play the same game at the same time I'd just buy a second copy, disc based most likely.

I rode a rollercoaster with loops for the first time today. I rode it twice. I still feel kinda dizzy.

I'm going to be very off and on this coming week fyi, I might not even post at all, depends.

Finally finished Dragon Quest VII yesterday morning. I've posted more detailed thoughts in the Games You Recently Beat? thread, but overall the game was a fun ride. However, it has certainly earned the title of one of the longest single player games out there. XD

@ogo79 Well, if I were going for that, I would've used this:

@MarioLover92 Congrats on finishing The Minish Cap! Ironically, I briefly tried out my old Minish Cap cartridge a little while ago just to see if it still worked. Despite buying it used, it surprisingly still has some life left. Shame my old GBA SP's right shoulder button is shot, so I couldn't run the game through all its paces. Yep, Vaati can be pretty frustrating, though the game is far from the first one to use multiple phases for the final boss. CoughAlmostAnyDQGameCough The only part of the fight I genuinely recall getting stuck on was not realizing I had to use Ezlo's power at one point.

On Frozen: Olaf - I've been impaled! Love that little guy. It'll certainly be fun to see what direction Disney takes the franchise next.

@Colonel_Mustache SteamWorld Dig 2 is, to date, my favorite SteamWorld game. I first played it on the Switch. This revisit will be the Steam version since I picked it up when it was (briefly) free a little while back. The older Pokemon revisits have been sparked by a sudden drive I have for Pokemon preservation. Especially now that the 3DS and Wii U eShops are closed down and Pokemon Bank is free. I'll eventually move them forward into Pokemon Home once I decide to finally sub to it...but not too soon.

@Sunsy Super Mario Galaxy 2 is also an amazing game, though I suspect it would've been DLC for SMG1 if released today. I ever so slightly prefer the first game since it introduces Rosalina and has something resembling a plot (which is a high compliment for a main series Mario title).

The closer theater is only about 5-7 minutes for me depending on traffic. I too have more fond memories of a single house theater not far from where I grew up that was refurbished and made operational; it still runs movies IIRC. The closest town with my local theater also used to have a one-house theater and did a few kid-oriented screenings when I was a kid too. However, in that case, the '08 recession coupled with some ownership troubles means it currently sits empty and sad.

@Kraid Sounds like you've figured it out.

Forgive my initial bias toward one console per person.😉 For five years in here, there's been a steady steam of people joining here because they just bought two consoles for their kids/family and they discovered they can't play a shared digital game on two consoles at the same time. They didn't know how to set up a Switch User & Nintendo Account, and link them. And they are typically disappointment when they learn they'd have to buy a second copy of some games, create a second nintendo account, or for some games they need to buy a family plan for NSO.

Anyway, sounds like you're up to speed. Nice work!

So I just saw that "Barney" is getting rebooted as a CGI animated series. And upon looking at his design, I said the following:

"Okay, look. I don't mean to sound rude or disrespectful, as Barney has taught me to be a good person... but... DEAR GOD WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS FACE?!"
