@JadeKitsune Yeah, my Mario Galaxy sits at about 90% complete. While I do enjoy a lot of the levels, I find naviating the hub world to get to the levels to be a drag, and a big part of why I don't finish the game.
For me, I think Mario Odyssey and game evolution/progress have made it harder for me to go back to older games.
@Colonel_Mustache My money has been ready for Galaxy 2. I am surprised they haven't released it yet. I wanted it bad. But now that my Galaxy 1 sits unfinished, and years go on, I'm not sure I still want Galaxy 2.
@JadeKitsune
Oh, when I was Senior High School student during early 2000's, I have created my own character design inspired from NYPD Blue.
I had some interest with police or detective stuffs during that time so I created my own fictional police department featuring 5 protagonists (4 males + 1 female).
They are :
Edward Georges (lead detective police, expert in using guns)
Jennifer White (detective police, specialist in DNA tracing and biological stuffs)
dr. Marc Drummond (deputy chief, former surgery doctor, father of technology)
Charlie Vaughan (captain police, expert in martial arts)
Clark Hugo (senior detective police, investigator, specialist in chemical stuffs).

The problem with Mario Galaxy games was you cannot keep your multiple Mario's life after you quit from the game so it was very punishing as the next stages getting harder and you have less lives to survive, it was not exciting moment to continue Mario Galaxy games.
I still haven't finished yet my Mario Galaxy 2 Wii (currently at World 5) as I already felt burnout to recollecting more lives and continue the progress. And that's why I have very low hype with Mario franchises.
@Anti-Matter The only OCs that I created in my younger days were all in my head, like Batter-O (no relation to Beep-O from Mario + Rabbids), an anthropomorphic AAA battery (after the batteries from my Game Boy Pocket) who once traveled into a level called Cranberry's Fortress (based on Whomp's Fortress from Super Mario 64). Then in middle school I once brainstormed a world that was like Harry Potter and Sailor Moon... mostly for the aesthetics because anime was becoming super popular, and int this universe we had various worlds like Ice World, Lava World, Dark World (where the antagonist Darkwing... no relation to Darkwing Duck... resided), and the Magic Kingdom (no relation to Disney's theme park), which was the "base" of the entire universe, and everyone traveled to different worlds across the universe using portals, and there was even a Color World, which was similar to Earth but every continent was a different color of the rainbow.
@Anti-Matter Yeah, losing our extra lives if you closed the Galaxy 1 seemed a bit strange. Mario Odyssey has spoiled older Mario games for me. I can't wait for the sequel to Odyssey.
Jeez, it's super annoying only seeing one side of a discussion. @ComfyAko I actually think that looks good, at the very least, it's way better than what I could do. @Snatcher Ah, I would sort of recommend looking at the master classes on the FE wiki, otherwise it might get annoying at the end when you can't promote them any further 'cause you improved the wrong proficiency.
Currently playing: Metal Gear Solid
Back burner: Hollow Knight, Undertale
@JadeKitsune There's always a 3d mario for each console. Mario Odyssey was kind of revolutionary. They'd be foolish not to make a 3d mario game that builds on Odyssey's successes. It's looking like 3d mario and Mario Kart 9 will probably be launch titles for the next gen hardware.
@Colonel_Mustache That thought crossed my mind when I typed my last post. XD
Sometimes I think the lack of MK9 on the switch makes me worried they're running out of ideas for the Mario Kart series. I love mario kart, but it's such a long running series...
@JadeKitsune
Yay...!
I'm also have interest with Sailor Moon, especially the season 3 with new Sailor senshi (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto), Death Buster, Witches 5, Mistress 9 and Paraoh 90.
Daimon monster design from 90's anime were like Lady Gaga costumes by possesing random things (Or maybe, Lady Gaga got the fashion inspiration from Daimon in Sailor Moon).
Actually the Sailor Moon transformation inspired me to create my own boxers with transforming power.
They will say Henshin power like Kamen Rider and transformed like Sailor Moon style (boxing gloves, boxing trunks with transform belt, shoes, Naruto style bandana, simple necklace).
They have elemental powers by god or goddess in mythology names.
They have "villains" that become their opponents in boxing fight.
The "villains" are actually not really bad guys.
The villains still have good sportmanship and will admit their lost after boxing fight, well a few of them are refused to accept their lost (villains are villains anyway).
@TeaCatherine alright! I will check it out! Oh i wanted to ask, edelgard has an axe, and thatโs all she has used, but she can now become of the Nobel class, should I switch her to that? Also what should I make Bernni, I feel like she has lower range then enemy archers and she gets hurt easily, is archer really the best for her?
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outsideโฆyou know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

Mario Odyssey was like a baby step project for 3D platformer games.
Sony already did from Ratchet & Clanks games and Sly Cooper games long time ago where you can still able to continue the game no matter how many times you died or fallen into bottomless pit (No Game Over screen) and it adapted also in Crash Bandicoot 4 It's about Time.
Btw, I got Ice Age games on Wii (Ice Age 2), on PS3 (Ice Age 3 & 4) and I was surprised to see very clean and smooth graphics of Ice Age 2 & 3 in 60 fps.
For 3D platformer games, Ice, Age was not bad, except Ice Age 4 that turned into party games. Ice Age on PS4 / Switch was okay too
