@ChaoticKirby what leak?

@Kermit1 There was a mass data leak full of stuff from Source games, ranging from Portal to TF2. I want to say there was 61GB of TF2 content ALONE. The full list of games that were leaked include:

• Portal
• CS: Source
• Day of Defeat: Source
• HL2
• And TF2

Playable maps, taunts, cosmetics, and working assets for all of these games… There was even promotional material in the files. It was a mess.

It’s really heartbreaking to see all these scrapped ideas. Valve just gave up on making games at this point.

@ChaoticKirby I'd say give them time. I think the Steam Deck will work some magic soon.

@Kermit1 @SlashFuture Yeah, I really do hope they make a grand return into the game development scene. I did see Aperture Desk Job, but I would much rather have a proper sequel than a short spin-off Deck tutorial. It’s just really hard to keep up morale when you know how unlikely it is for Valve to actually listen to their fans.

@TeaCatherine The stuff I mentioned in the paragraph before. I indulged myself in the TF2 half of the leak, and the maps interested me the most. There’s a bunch of videos about these maps on YouTube.

There may be a bunch of information about this leak I missed. If you wish to indulge yourself in this as well, there will be a lot to unwrap. You have been warned.

You know, it’s funny how nothing was leaked on Portal 3 or Half Life 3. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise, or maybe it just never existed in the first place. We may never know.

Some tragic news coming out just 2 hours ago: James Phyrillas (well known online as movie/game reviewer Schaffrillas) along with his brother Patrick and close friend Chris have been involved in a car crash. James is in a critical condition while Chris and Patrick have sadly passed away.

@TeaCatherine @SlashFuture Knowing Valve, it’s an 80/20 chance, with both not existing being more likely.

At least there’s a 20% chance of both releasing eventually.

Damn, I don’t know what to say here. I’m sorry for him, his family, and his friend’s family’s loss. I hope he’s doing well, and makes it out of this tragedy alive. Prayers go out to them.

I’m sorry if this was lackluster, I don’t really do well in speaking about stuff like this.

I wish people would realize that when you are looking down at your phone, and minding your own business, that you don’t want to talk to them.
