@TeaCatherine I judge my own social skills to be morbidly sub-par, especially face to face communication. I mostly don't look at the conversation partner (subconsciously, not out of lack of respect) and I go into immediate panic whenever I stop talking fluently, which causes me to stutter even more.

At school I learnt some things that I forgot like a month later. It's all game show knowledge that has no connection to real life, after all. Also, I learnt that if you are put down by bullies, you lose all respect even with people who don't initially care. Thinking that all of them are begging from the gutter somewhere really helps, but it doesn't make me any more confident.

Anti-Matter

I have no idea why this thread currently get filled by conversations of users which have problematic situation in their life and keep talking how miserable their life and another group keep talking about waifus in disturbing way.

@Anti-Matter @Kermit1 Man, people are allowed to talk about their problems, don't judge them for it. Also, nothing wrong with waifus, I like what I like and I'm allowed to talk about it. It's the chat chat thread, we're supposed to talk about our interests and such.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Indeed, this is coming from someone who would buy and play a Trolls game if it were to be developed and released. How I feel about licensed games is that if it's a fun game and is faithful to the source material, it can be a good game too. This is what happened to Microids' two Smurfs games. I still feel Jimmy Neutron Attack of the Twonkies was that. It's loosely was based on the special, but captured what made the show so good with its cutscenes, and having levels heavily inspired by the locales of Retroville. Haven't seen much of Paw Patrol games, the bit I did see, the racing game looks like a fun early racing game for younger kids, the platformer reminds me of Smurfs 2, just generic and nothing special. Looking at show clips to compare, the racing game takes locales of the show, the platformer just uses the art style but doesn't look like places I've seen in a few clips I've seen. I think it is possible to make good licensed games, just needs the TLC when making it.

Yeah, most parents wouldn't even come to a site like this for game info. Meanwhile, I come here for news, watch gameplay, decide for myself if it's worth buying or waiting for a price drop.

Audience reactions are the best. I still remember the day seeing the first Sonic movie and the audience losing it at Tails! Between that and the kid singing along to one of the Trolls songs, it's just a magical experience you just can't get at home.

I have to say, I agree with leaks and rumors. My IRL friend and I usually discuss it because we follow gaming news, but we often take a realistic take. Said IRL friend also had a friend who got mad when Smash characters didn't get revealed and we told him not to listen to random YouTubers. This is coming from someone who loves watching gaming content.

Pitch Meetings are fun because they aren't being treated as serious reviews. Can't remember which movie it was but I've seen one of them before. There's also CinemaWins, found this one by accident when looking up Trolls one day. CinemaWins is like CinemaSins, except the focus is on what makes a movie so awesome. I tend to not care for CinemaSins since it's just nitpicking at this point, even if that's the point of the videos.

@Anti-Matter If have a good or bad day, I'll mention it, usually I don't go into very personal details of that. I like coming here to just chat about stuff and games.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Good morning to you too!

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Yeah, me too. Especially since the second movie skipped theaters. Though did get lucky this past summer when a friend and I saw Trolls World Tour at a local theater as part of a summer event they had. Still waiting for the day a trailer for it drops.

@Sunsy I don't remember whether I saw the second movie in theatres or not. I remember my mom renting it for my birthday one year and me watching it a million times.

@ComfyAko Hey, don't let Anti-Matter get to you. You're a good person, and he shouldn't be saying anything about you. You're allowed to say what you want here.

@Kermit1 No. So, when do your amazon packages arrive?

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Trolls World Tour skipped theaters because of the pandemic, so renting it was the only way to watch at its release. Though some theaters do show it as part of special family friendly events now that restrictions are lifted, which is how I saw it this past summer.

Two local theaters had it as part of their summer series, my friend and I went to both. It was a treat watching it on the big screen.

Wow, you watched the movie a lot, I've lost track between all the times I put on the DVD.

EllaTheQueen6

@Sunsy Yeah, I watched it a lot. I was, like, 11 and had nothing else to do.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Yeah, it was like that for everyone. At least Trolls helped make being stuck at home not so bad as it was an escape from what was going on in the world at the time. Same with games.

I couldn't get together with my friend for our birthdays, so we just did a birthday party in one of our favorite online games. Played together and chatted. Last year we actually were able to get together for our birthdays.

@Sunsy In 2022 when I turned 13, I spent my time with my brother. It feels weird alreaady being 13, I feel ancient.
