Had a great day today. Went shopping with a friend and treated myself to some sparkly Trolls stickers, as silly as it sounds, it made my day. Afterwards, my friend and I had pizza for lunch and watched some anime. A great day today.
@Sunsy It will take more than hugging a troll you also need to improve their smell. I’m thinking some sort of fire hose with soapy water in it. Also you meed tanning beds to makenup for the sun lost in their parents basement. But hugs are the best place to start
I will watch bad guys at some point for me it just got lost in the noise of life. I do intend to see it at some point though especially considering the DVD’s are pretty cheap
Sharktales is just a bad movie. There really isn’t much more depth to it the animation is bad, story is bad and jokes are so awful that they loop back around to being funny. Nit because they are well written but because the studio approved the movie. It is easily the worst thing dreamworks has made. It’s very entertaining at parts though
I also haven’t seen the Smurfs movie. Visually it looks great but it also kind of got lost in the shuffle of 2021. It’s cool that the cartoon actually took advantage of the sony style. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. However I don’t have alot to say since I am pretty unfamiliar with the smurfs reboot
Well I have definitely praised this Puss 2 alot on this site but it isn’t just me. It’s getting rave reviews everywhere. It’s universally loved. It even has higher review scores than Way of the water. Puss in boots 2 is just a great movie. While public opinion dosen’t necessarily correlate with quality it’s pretty clear that if the movies only criticism is “it was too scary for my kids” or “too complicated for my kids” then the movie was great. Every part of it felt engineered to be as amazing as possible. It’s worth watching on the big screen if you can I went in with high expectations from the reviews and they were all succeeded. It’s like if people were being serious about Morbius. The movie is just awesome.
Rick and morty is great but niche it isn’t for everyone. And if you ever try it stay away from the fans they can get pretty rabid. If you like it though than it will hook you like nothing else. Rck and Morty minus a few stinker episodes is one of the funniest shows around. It has alot of. Comedic depth it isn’t just poop jokes for 20 minutes. Plus it’s in the gravity falls universe so I was always going to be a fan. I always found it darkly ironic that the Heroes in Gravity falls Owl House and Amphibia struggle against these monsters that Rick could casually curb stomp in the opening gag of a Rick and Morty episode and it would make sense in universe.
I may have said that as a Trolls-themed joke, but 100% agreed!

Wow, I haven't seen that since we rented it a long time ago. The bizarre thing is Trolls World Tour did a Hammer Time gag better than this too. Yeah this is one movie I don't remember much of. Amusingly, I have the Shark Tale PC game from back then and I remember having more fun with that one. IIRC, it was like an open world game with mini-games, it was fun.
That's alright, what happened was after Smurfs 2, they rebooted the third movie into full animation, staying faithful to Peyo's style. Smurfs: The Lost Village is really underrated IMO, it got me back into Smurfs. The movie and the new show is great, I should add, whoever Microids is getting to develop games is doing justice to the series too. I'd say it's a good time to be a Smurfs fan.
That is great, I'm hoping to see Puss In Boots soon. Really looking forward to finally seeing it whenever I can. Honestly, perfect timing watching the first Puss In Boots last year.

@Kermit1 Give Wrinkle the duck on YouTube a watch. It's a guy on YouTube who goes places with his duck Wrinkle (who happens to be a Paw Patrol fan because why not), and the duck is well behaved and everything. Best part, Wrinkle's owner uses the story of how he hatched Wrinkle from an egg, and says it with a straight face, lol.

@Sunsy I've actually seen a few Wrinkle The Duck videos, they are really fun. I went through a phase after I played Untitled Goose Game where I watched tons of bird videos.
@Kermit1 That's awesome! I discovered Wrinkle pretty recently with the Target video. Mom and I enjoy watching them. Funnily enough I got recommended duck videos on my personal Instagram account lol.

@Snatcher Yeah, I relate to her on so many levels as well. It was one of the very few times when I watched a fictional character and I kinda felt the suffering, because that was something I had been going through earlier. No social skills, being treated badly by people I wanted to be (but couldn't) be friends with, all my friendships dissolving with no way to stop it, the fomo on pretty much all of the social life. When I was watching it, I was done with school and without any obligation to do so, people I knew had already stopped interacting with me and I really wanted Tomoko to succeed and find friends. I just felt so much for her that it was almost unreasonable.

@Snatcher after being reminded about Watamote a couple of days ago, something awakened and I ordered the oldest GN I could (4th). I'll gradually collect them. They're imported so they cost 3x normal manga, but it's not about the price in this situation.
