@Kermit1 Been playing N64 games quite a bit recently as well. I recently got the expansion pack (@Fizza may like to hear this), thought it was a good time to get it since there's quite a good amount of games available, plus I do like how all the Mario Party games are coming.

@MarioLover92 I started playing Mario Tennis and fell in love with it. I can't wait for the first 3 Mario Parties to come out and GoldenEye.

Reading The Memory Police by Yōko Ogawa. It's such a haunting story about memory loss and the collective subconscious.

A little bit bad news for me, my NSO subscription will be expired tomorrow in 18 September 2022 due to I haven't added $ 20 for renewal as I have spent my money to get two rare Gamecube games with pretty expensive prices. These games must be got first, my NSO can be a little bit late.
Don't worry, I will renew my subscription before October 2022 after my salary day.

As a big N64 enthusiast, I'm always looking for more people to play N64 multiplayer online with including Mario Tennis (Paratroopa, baby!), and especially with the Mario Parties/Goldeneye coming in the pipeline, so if it's cool with you, feel free to add me as a Switch friend! In the same vein, @MarioLover92 I'd like to add you too! I also play most Mario Switch spinoffs, Smash, Splatoon 2, Rocket League among others. @Kermit1 Yeah me neither! I only played a little bit of GoldenEye on the N64 so I wouldn't mind playing more of it. Definitely pumped for the Mario Party games.

Friendly neighborhood reminder that I generally don't accept friend requests from online peeps unless I'm asked or informed first. I've had to field a couple of requests lately from unknown parties. The regulars in this thread are usually pretty good about it, but I thought I'd put something out there in case someone looking to add my Switch FC runs across it.

@MarioLover92 Quite clever, allowing save data from previous games to influence your save file and unlock content sooner; I wish more Nintendo titles did that...or transferred between systems for a slight fee, kind of like what happened with the Virtual Console between the Wii and Wii U. To be honest, I'd probably like the Splatoon series, but I don't want to get too roped into online play when there are so many games to dive into out there.

@Tyranexx I remember my brother played it a lot on Dreamcast and PlayStation (I had the Dreamcast at the time because of Sonic games, glad Sega puts Sonic on everything now). Cool, I use to read Arthur as well, I still have some of the books. I also have a Clifford book somewhere, the original book. Before seeing Trolls World Tour at the two theaters this past summer, I read a bunch of Trolls picture books (a book called 5 minute stories, but it had multiple books in one). I also have a few Manga volumes, specifically Himuto Umaru-Chan, Teasing Master Takagi-San, and Toradora.

I would guess it's washing hands, I do that a lot too, usually when I have to put lotion on, that's the reason why.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, I think Midway Arcade Treasures 2 got the M-rating because of Mortal Kombat 2 and 3. I remember playing Rampage on it, and my brother had it for PlayStation. I also liked Kozmik Krooz'r, and Hard Drivin'. I've heard of Skullgirls, never did play it.

I remember the pet feature, Wuhu Island made it fun to explore around, haven't played it in years. I remember all I had were CRT TVs until 2016, so I was playing Wii U on that and had to order another Wii A/V cable. Had to play my Wii U games with widescreen bars at 480i, lol. That sounds like it was a nice retro setup you had.

@Kermit1 N64 is a good time, um play Star Fox 64 and Sin and Punishment (I don't have the expansion pack, but I have the latter on Wii U)

@Sunsy Unfortunately I didn't have regular access to either console. The only Sega system I've ever played is a Genesis a babysitter owned. As for PlayStation, some cousins owned a PS2 that I did play a couple of games on, but I wasn't interested in most of what they had (sports, FPSes, some GTA). I did beat their copy of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban over the course of a year. I always liked Arthur, and I was into the Clifford books too...as well as the animated show that ran on PBS in the 2000s. I've tried different pieces of manga. I mostly just have time for the occasional My Hero Academia volume these days, but I'd like to read Fullmetal Alchemist too at some point. I also like what I read of Bleach back in the day, but there are so many volumes now that I don't think I'll ever get back to it. 😅

I'm a frequent hand washer. I like being clean, at least when touching things. I washed my hands even more often during the height of the pandemic; I'd only use hand sanitizer if it was the only thing available. Sanitizer dries out my hands even faster.

Ok so I wonder if this is just me, but why in the world am I able to get my thoughts across waay better writing but not actually, saying it? Because every opinion I have just sounds so much worse compared to when I write it in detail, am also able to think compared to when ai have a conversation, like all of this I’m writing ai probably would say to you in this way and manner, and probably would use half of these words. What the heck brain!

I have a question, why do people keep saying Walter White in stream chats and other media things currently. I know who the character is I'm just curious why his name is getting used.

@Tyranexx Yeah, games like Splatoon and Mario Kart are quite easy to get hooked to when it comes to their online. They're games that I can easily come back to as well, so I don't have to worry about getting stuck in that one part that I left off on, lol. But yeah, there is quite a bit to look forward to. Of course, I wanna get my hands on Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and even Persona 5 Royal - assuming that I at least get far in many of the other RPGs that I have. lol

@Sunsy Yep you're right, the Mortal Kombat games were the big reason why they got an M rating. I remember playing most of the games you've mentioned, and Total Carnage, which I did like. I think I remember the first boss or so being kind of gruesome, though. lol

I definitely remember Wuhu Island in Wii Sports Resort, the part where you're flying around with the plane was pretty fun. I didn't really have an HDTV in my room until 2018. I'd play the Wii U in the living room, which had an HDTV of its own. I remember playing on the GamePad screen, while my mom would watch a show or two on the TV. Ah yeah, I remember using a composite cable with the Wii U a few times, the whole screen would indeed be letterboxed. Thanks! I'd have my Genesis and PS2 hooked up as well.

So my NSO is already expired.
I haven't renew yet as my last games purchase in September 2022 was some rare Gamecube games so I must wait until my salary day to renew my NSO subscription.

UM, I went to start up my PC and it asked about my System 32 and it wasn't installed or something corrupted. I just did a "fix" but that did nothing now I'm doing a heavy duty Norton scan.

I'm legit scared. I think I know the cause if there is one, for school I have had a science disk that was MP3 and my PC doesn't really do MP3 files so I think that could be what done it.
