This is the last post I'm making for a while, I'm taking a break.
I was re-watching The Beatles: Get Back with my parents and when Billy Preston popped up in the trailer before we started watching my Dad said he saw Billy Preston in concert when he was in college. I never knew that my Dad saw him, so my Dad saw the fifth Beatle. I know someone who saw someone who played with The Beatles, my dreams have come true in a way lol.
So I want to hear some quick review from you about these Crash Bandicoot games on PS2.
Wrath of Cortex = I heard this game was really hard in term of control and you can die easily by every single tiny mistakes, not to mention the disaster of dog fight in the air. I was really nervous to consider this game just only heard from the review like that.
Twinsanity = I still remembered if I have ever played that game long long time ago with pirated software and I thought it was a little bit easier than Wrath of Cortex but I heard that game have some bugs and glitches, can't remember which part. Please clarify those issues for me.
Nitro Kart & Tag Team = Please some quick review about these games from your gaming experience.
@Sunsy Nice.. I'm quite liking wave 2 as well, though I'm still chasing after Sky High Sundae. During our play session we weren't able to race it yet, but hopefully we can this Saturday, rng be willing lol. Ahh i see.. damn that is rather early for a movie! But hey I get it, can't miss out on that movie theater popcorn with extra butter, you know?
@Snatcher Haha ...ikr! Feels like forever ago already somehow lol. Been a while man, how's the Spelunkin goin, I still need to get back to do more runs on ma streams. Also, wanna join MK8D with us on Sat?
@Anti-Matter Ahh.. right now.. not really, just a bunch of MK8D. Been Xenobladin' quite some.. bein a big fan and all. I do wanna play more Smash Bros and games like that. I still wanna get Mario Party which sounds super fun to play with the crew. I also want to get into Multi-Versus which looks like another awesome crossover platform fighter. Ahh nice, still goin strong with the ACNH, eh? Oh.. nice, do you need a Japan account to get DDRA3?
New pinball cabinet came into the shop today! A Stern Pinball cabinet based on The Mandalorian (the Pro Edition), fresh from the box. The techs were allowing some play testing before it gets hauled to its new home, a bowling alley in the region. A pretty slick table, some great theming and very responsive.
@tekoii It's been a couple of days since I last played - Yay IRL - but I'm currently on Chapter 3 of XC3. I absolutely love the game so far; Monolith has especially learned in regards to the quest system! Why are guys named Vandham doomed to die? Lol Trying Other M on an emulator is fine, I suppose, partially since I suspect it isn't as cheap now compared to when I bought it. I enjoy being part of your streams; winning is nice, but I play to have fun more than anything. XD
I'm unfortunately gonna have to pass on your anniversary MK8D stream - I'll be out of town/away from my Switch - but I hope it's a good time for everyone involved!
@Sunsy Oh that's cool. I remember getting Mega Man 9 when it first came out on WiiWare. I did love every second of it... even though it was super hard! I never ended up finishing it back then, but I did in Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 much later.
Gotcha, I remember seeing others wearing designer clothing as well. Speaking of bands, I actually do have a few Beatles tees of my own! (Abbey Road and Yellow Submarine to be more specific.) That's cool. Back in my teen days, I remember having a tee that had the Metroid Prime logo on it, and a long-sleeved shirt that had Mario on it. It went "Small Mario + Super Mushroom = Super Mario," and one of the sides had multiple pictures of Mario grabbing a mushroom block, like how it's done in Super Mario Bros. 2. I still have that shirt, actually! I do have a Princess Peach tee as well, I got that a couple years back. Thanks! I am kind of a big fan of all those games, lol.
That's good at least. At least you didn't come face-to-face with any of those "Nintendo is kiddy" guys! That's cool you got to play Four Swords, I didn't play it that much. I played the DSiWare version for a little bit. I may not have been into Jimmy Neutron (my younger brother liked watching that and other Nicktoons, however), but that stings that people would pick on you for liking that. Yeah, things are much easier once we get out of high school, I find. No one in college has ever mocked me for liking stuff like Mario, Sonic, and Mega Man. And I'm very thankful for that.
@tekoii Yep I told Sunsy about it! Always great racing with you as well.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
Me and my sister are currently in an ongoing war for the upstairs tv. I usually win though, because I actually plan out my strategy at night. My current master plan is to switch the batteries out for dead ones, then switch all our spare batteries out for dead ones. Make her and her boyfriend think there is no hope to watch tv that night. Then quietly go up with good batteries and start watching a movie. Just need a lot of dead batteries.
Yes I am thinking way to deep about this. And yes, I have way to much time on my hands.
Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG

@Tyranexx That looks like a cool pinball machine, and I'm not even huge into Star Wars, lol. Sounds like it works flawlessly, too! Cool to see you're enjoying XC3 as well - I've been encouraged to get back into the Xenoblade games. Which I kinda need anyway... especially since I wanna play XC3 too.
@Sunsy Another mention for you. Thought you'd like this remix!

Having a bad cold. Took some Panadol (Paracetamol) for "Cough and Cold" three times already, but I doubt it's working that well, especially because it says "Blocked Nose" rather than "Runny Nose," the latter of which I have, which is like the total opposite of blocked noses. Ah well. Knew I should've bought something else.

@Tyranexx My god that Pinball table looks amazing.
Have always wanted a real pinball table in my house, but the expense of it and the sweaty guy coming around to empty it every week (joke) is just not feasible for most people including me

US people, has anyone noticed G4TV, the video game channel that's back on cable (Fios channel 804), plays Scott The Woz in one hour blocks. You know, I wouldn't mind seeing other youtubers get their content put on g4 as shows, like Spawn Wave's daily news show. I think he could pull it off.
@tekoii Definitely hope so. It is early, but I am looking forward to it. This particular theater did their summer series early around 9AM, before the bigger movies play. They also showed Spirit Untamed and Boss Baby Family Business, and Monday they're showing Trolls World Tour. So it seems to be a couple of recent DreamWorks movies.
Big thing is, Trolls World Tour skipped theaters because of obvious reasons, so that kind of makes Trolls a bigger deal since fans like myself wanted to see it on the big screen in 2020. I already saw it in July at another theater, and friend decided to go to the other showing to.
@MarioLover92 Cool, I think I used one for Sonic 4 Episode 1, and I also got Super Mario 3 with that card. The only other WiiWare game I have is Dr. Mario Online RX, but that was from Club Nintendo.
That's cool. Band shirts just never appealed to me, I can't see wearing one unless it was something I really really liked. Thinking about my teen years, the only music I come back to is Weezer. IIRC, it was pressure to listen to rock music because it was "cool music" or "real music" back then. Really, I just liked upbeat music and soundtracks. Weezer's Green Album was great because it was upbeat. Weezer's Photograph is one of my favorite songs. I mostly liked soundtrack music, and found myself listening to Sonic songs more. I have the Sonic Adventure 2 soundtrack CD.
Those sound like some really nice gaming themed shirts. I think during my teen years, it was mostly Pokemon and Sonic shirts in terms of gaming. Some were Jimmy Neutron and some were Disney, well the few Finding Nemo shirts I found that fit. Nowadays, it's mostly Trolls, Peach, Sonic, couple of other Disney characters on my shirts (I have a shirt with Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph, Anna and Elsa, and surprisingly Sofia the First, Amazon Disney shirts come in all sizes even characters that are part of Disney Junior, which Sofia is... also Sofia the First's show is 10 years old come November, so some older fans may be nostalgic for it).
Yeah, I got lucky as a Nintendo fan. Also being a PC gamer, I was able to keep up with conversations on the few games that weren't on GameCube. Not only kids, but one teacher did as well. Thankfully she got fired, but she was concerned with me wearing a Jimmy Neutron shirt over anything else that could have been seen as worse. Like, all I did was wear a character shirt, and it didn't even have anything inappropriate on it, lol. She just got annoyed because it wasn't "age appropriate," despite animated movies being categorized as "Kids/Family" for good reason too.
That's great, meanwhile in recent years, I haven't been made fun of for liking stuff I like. When My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic got bigger, I wore an MLP shirt out. Rather than being made fun of, I got mostly complements. It just feels better to be a fan of stuff now, than years ago. I wouldn't want to go back to the days where character shirts were for kids only or being mocked because I like something.
Will admit, one thing I did enjoy that others my age did like back then was WWE. Wrestling was just entertaining, the characters, the storylines, it was fun. I enjoy it, and got back into watching it. Outside that and video games, most stuff teens were into when I was a teen, I just wasn't into. I was always a cartoon kind of guy, that's one thing that never changed.
The remix sounds great, perfect timing too since I saw Sega's new video on their social media about the new Genesis mini.
@blindsquarel Even though G4 is the only gamer content on TV? - There's no wrong answer.😉 I'm not crazy about current G4. (I liked the older Attack of the Show)

When you put it that way, yeah, especially when the other major gaming "journalism" (can't even write this out with a straight face) alternative in mainstream media is... IGN. Or Gamespot, I guess. Is Gamespot still around? lol
I guess there's also half a dozen other reliable gaming YouTubers who regularly reviews the latest games, but you have to go to the Internet/YouTube for that instead of just turning on the TV, so that might not be appealing for certain people.
