Huh, my primary school certainly didn't have any computers while I was there, @Sunsy .... Secondary school managed to have a few BBC micros but us kids weren't allowed to use them, lol
Mum had to use some computer for some of her work but no idea which, sadly & the 1st PC I had was a Spectrum ZX + 2
@Kermit1 Ok, didn't know it still was. Last promotional stuff I've seen for it seems to treat it like it's its own channel. Again, I mostly watch Disney stuff via streaming, and remember when it was called Playhouse Disney when I use to have cable.
Though, Sofia the First and Alice's Wonderland Bakery are the only shows I've watched from the block (albeit via streaming). I like the nods both series make to classic Disney, Sofia being the princess movies, and Alice being Alice in Wonderland.
@MarioLover92 I have it on my Wii U too, I was thinking of having it on New 3DS too. Yeah, I figure with sales make the most of the cards, I still have a handful of games on my wishlist and like to get them on sale if possible. Yeah, I like themes, they're fun. It helped make the 3DS feel more personal.
Anime is always a good time. Even though I tend to enjoy slice of life anime the most.
@BruceCM Wow, never heard of a school without computers. The first elementary school had Apple IIe computers, after moving, the next elementary school had Macs, then middle school on, it was Windows PCs.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Anti-Matter I've heard of many of those games; the Kinect was Microsoft's answer to the Wii at the time. I can't speak to the Xbox 360's version of Zoo Tycoon, but I absolutely loved that series on PC back in the day. I spent countless hours on both Zoo Tycoon and Zoo Tycoon 2 + their expansions.
@Kermit1 Congrats on picking up Okami HD! I loved the Wii version enough to 100% it. As for tips....I recommend experimenting with the different weapons and buying/learning certain combos to farm demon fangs easier. They're very useful in the game. Brush powers are quite fun to use too, though on occasion (reminder I've only played the Wii version) a different power is activated than what you want.
@BruceCM What I have now is a heck of an improvement over my old ISP, and even better than what my parents get....They have broadband, but they live at the end of an oversold line where it's hard for them to do much of anything during high traffic hours.
@reporterdavid That question is better suited to Ubisoft lol. I think with the AC III and Black Flag/Rogue collections, a lot of the work was already done. As for the Ezio Collection, those are likely mostly based on how popular Ezio is to series fans. I'm as confused as you as to why the first game hasn't migrated over yet, but maybe it's only a matter of time? I know it's fairly clunky compared to later entries.
@Sunsy Crazy how familiarity of something imprints into our brains, especially in childhood. We always had Windows machines in the house I grew up in, from Windows 95 on up. The record holder was the Windows XP machine; that lasted ten years!
For a multitude of reasons that range from business decisions to gaming, I much prefer Windows and Linux machines. I'm not the biggest fan of Apple, Inc.
@MarioLover92 I've heard of the Lost Planet series; that one definitely has its fans and haters. Can't say I've played Sonic '06 either, but I'm quite familiar with how infamous it is lol. I think you've hit on why I like Rosalina so much: the depth of her character. The first Super Mario Galaxy laid out her origin and motivations pretty well. I love the cat suits in SM3DW, but I might be biased towards cats in general. XD Though I like most animals.
I got Norton VPN and I can't find out how to watch stuff in other countries, (or I'm dumb, or VPN's don't work like how I think they do) I've looked up how, it just doesn't work oddly. I even turned on split tunnelling.
@Kermit1 Yeah, I remember falling asleep to Disney Channel on some nights, and woke up to that. I just know of the name change because I remember seeing the album to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and later editions said Disney Junior on it. Hence why I remember the name.
@Tyranexx Totally is, I still remember stuff about that old Mac computer. I even remember trying a shareware utility that altered the look to make the windows look like Windows windows, lol. Cool, after that we switched to Windows, and I stick with Windows mostly because of gaming. Though still did some gaming on the Mac.
Linux is great, I once tried a live CD on an old desktop, and later dual booted it. Even put it on my mom's old computer at one point due to her getting viruses. She was able to surf the web and check e-mail, and still boot into Windows for some work stuff. Also, breathed life into mom's old PC as it ran nicely.
