So, I beat Sonic Adventure DX tonight, playing it the first time in years. Played the original on Dreamcast and the GameCube remake years ago, considered it to be one of the best games I played then. Honestly (maybe an unpopular opinion because YouTube), I still consider to be one of the best games I've played. Only thing bad I found were the camera angles really.
More or less wanted to do this to have a save with all the levels unlocked on PC, ended up enjoying it again. I was playing Sonic Adventure on my PC instead of Dreamcast or GameCube.
@Eel Wow those are two different games on two different systems too.
@Snatcher Congrats, looks like I'm not the only one who beat a Sonic game.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy Thank you, This is actually going to be the very first sonic game I 100% and S rank, The first one I 100% or got all the CE was sonic 4, ya ya I know LOL.
@tekoii Oh that reminds me, sorry I missed the mario kart thing today, I missed it, My bad. 😅

Just curious, have you ever get sleepy during playing video games ?
Sometimes when i played very long mission to finish like Skylanders games, there was at some point i want to pause the game for a moment as my eyes felt heavy to keep following the long paths to finish one mission.
And sometimes i have ever literally fallen asleep for several minutes during playing video games for very long process to finish one mission. 😪
And when i woke up, i found my back was really sweaty.
I’ve nearly fallen asleep four or five times playing Gran Turismo. Ended up stuffing it into the wall a few times thanks to my laziness combined with “narcolepsy”
While I do love ARPGs, I do find if I am playing them on my own, once I get into a rhythm in a dungeon it can be so repetitive that it lulls me into drowsiness.
Here’s a question for Fire Emblem fans: What Fire Emblem game would you suggest to a newcomer to the series out of Awakening, Fates and Three Houses? (I couldn’t find a generic Fire Emblem series thread that’s still being used, but if there is one, could you send me the link? I’ll ask there instead)
Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.
Of those, 3 Houses, definitely, @BabyYoda71 ..... They were particularly developing that one with the idea there might be people getting it who hadn't previously played the series
I tried playing Fates and Sacred Stones, and didn’t stay interested long. Awakening was the first Fire Emblem game that clicked with me, and the only one where I’ve seen the credits.
Currently in transit on a stretch that needs little navigation right now, but don't expect me to be very responsive for the next few days.
Edit: Composed most of this in a span of an hour lol.
@TheJGG I see you've responded! Apologies in advance; It'll be a few days before I can properly reply as I didn't bring my laptop along. Hope school is treating you well!
@tekoii Thankfully it's fairly easy to avoid the thornier comment sections once you learn how to read the patterns. Though I don't post as much in general due to my schedule these days.
I don't make a big deal about my gender online, and again I'm used to some gender neutral uses of terms that historically were used to refer to males. I tend to use "dude" in more casual speech pretty much whenever lol.
@Snatcher Nah, you're fine. I don't consider my gender to be personal info per se (How many females are running around the planet?), but past the general region/state I live in, I tend to be very closed about much else online tbh. And again, I'm fine with phrases like "dude" since I've been in situations when it was used in a gender neutral way.
@BruceCM Not much right now. I brought my 3DS along with a copy of Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime, but I have yet to start it lol. Wasn't comfortable bringing along my Switch and hauling the charger around. 3DS is more compact. Next month is extremely busy, so I don't want to get very involved in a long game right now.
@MarioLover92 I found the price for that set, and...I'd actually pay that lol. Though it would drain my entertainment/gaming budget for a couple months. Which I could live with.
Definitely looking forward to Metroid Dread. I've played most of the other main series entries, and all the "numbered" Metroid games at that. I was impressed with how MercurySteam handled Metroid: Samus Returns. There were echoes of the original game, but they almost made it their own new work to its benefit.
Three Houses didn’t really click with me, and it was my second fire emblem. My first was Fates, which also didn’t click with me. My main issue with three houses was the fact that I didn’t know what classes to make my units. I had to get a friend’s help with that, since I had no idea myself.
"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."
Anyone seen Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings?
Saw it in cinema today and it was… probably the best Marvel movie I’ve ever seen, barring Endgame. As someone who is half-Asian that film was so… good for that side of me; even though that half isn’t Chinese. I’ve always been fascinated with China’s culture so this was a really interesting way to dive into it. The music was really good (especially the parts with traditional instruments like the guzheng and Chinese drums) too. Acting was quality.
Please watch this movie. If you liked Black Panther I think this movie’s better.
