I finally bit the bullet and bought a new set of joycon.

The old ones that came with my switch are just not good, beyond the drift, which did get better after I did the cardboard fix, but they were still not fully functional. The gyro was always skewed and weird, and the sticks were still bad when fine movements were required.

I got the purple and orange set, for a relatively good price. I hope the controllers come brand new and sealed though, apparently that's a recurring problem with people selling used refurbished joycon as new through amazon.

@Eel I was wondering about if you got new joycons, If you should just put the cardboard in first thing.

@Anti-Matter Love that game, Played the hell out of it.

@Snatcher when it comes to new products, I'd rather just use them as is before tampering with them.

My launch Switch Lite hasn't had any issues with the joysticks, and I use that a lot, so I choose to give these the benefit of the doubt and assume they won't drift any time soon.

@MarioLover92 Its amazing right? I'm having a blast with this game.

@Eel Lucky you, My switch lite has like one of the worst joystick issues, Dust, it gets in there really easy, So it will stop working, I also have drift from time to time.

@tekoii You had to make the idea of M+S (Ya thats what I'm calling it) and now I need a crossover, and the sad part is, what are the **** Odds?? 😭

@Cynas Just saw this, I totally agree. Love how the stages and Peach's castle are in that question block.

@tekoii That's around as far as I got in ETG too. I would get to the first boss, and I'd always die there, lol. I played a couple of the Mario & Sonic olympic games on the Wii (never played the ones on Wii U), the winter one was the best IMO. Loved the dream events in that game.

When I was little I had planned out a side-scrolling puzzle/quest game where you play as a skeleton that is looking for its place in the world devastated many years ago.

Like a post apocalyptic world where everything is dirty, dusty, abandoned and creepy. The skeleton does not know why it is "alive" but it wants to explore the creepy world. There would be no enemies only puzzles and interesting environments.

At the time I did not even own a PC (I spent many hours in those pc-cafes) Everything was drawn in a notebook with a pen.

As long i don't get a mission at Baumkuch Base again, i can play Dillon's Dead Heat Breakers with lesser intense. The moment of the Grocks transformed into Final form was really scary for me as they will run quickly to destroy nearby barracks. 😱

@Anti-Matter LOL, I was really shocked on how hard the game could actually get.

@MarioLover92 I can see us now, on top of a building, overlooking the sunset both wondering if we'd ever get pass floor 5 in ETG. XD LOL. I should give the Mario & Sonic games a try sometime, never got to play em. Sounds like there might be stuff I would enjoy about them.

Ahh man.. Starlink Deluxe Edition is on sale for $20 D: WANT. MUST NOT BUY.

I want this game for a space shooter experience and of course for STARFOX.

Anyone play this for a while? How is it? ><

Definitely buy it on sale. It's often on sale for $15-20, I believe.

@WoomyNNYes Man dude, your always so helpful, giving out links and what not, I remember when you gave me a thread to help with my 3ds, I still remember that.

@Snatcher When I first joined here, ThanosReXXX & Heavyarms55, and others spoiled me with links to things. Since a forum is essentially a bunch of strangers, and there's a chance you'll get poor advice, it's kinda nice to have a link.

And it's easy to slap a link on things with a pc.

Started playing Sonic Adventure DX again. Been awhile since playing it, still love this game. Will admit, I'm playing on PC, so I messed up a few times because muscle memory thinks GameCube or Dreamcast controller, lol. Use to speed through the levels on Dreamcast.

Has this happen to anyone else who played games on one system, then played it on another? Your mind is just set to the controller you originally played it with.
