@Anti-Matter I'm curious, did you try Finding Nemo yet? I'm wondering if it's the original GameCube release with long load times, or the later revision with the load times fixed. I remember renting it and waiting 2 minutes for the game to load something, yet when I finally got the game, the load times were short.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
Finally got through that one battle in Xenoblade Chronicles. Basically there was a bunch of enemies around the boss I'm required to fight, and they all do spike damage. I had no clue that during all this time, I could've used that Monado ability that temporarily removes the spike aura. I pretty much found that out by accident, lol. That helped me tenfold, alongside taking care of those enemies.
With the long weekend almost upon us Muricans, I'm hopeful my friend will rollcall for an evening of poker. The last time we played I was rolling. I was being carded really well. I was smashing flops. I was making my draws. I was on the good side of a couple coolers.
$60 pilfered after five hours. Nothing monumental, strictly small stakes. But thrilling none the less.
Content with the fact that I'll never be in a position to gamble for several thousands of dollars ever in my life.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,260 games (as of June 15th, 2024)

The game that has my attention for September is Doctor Who Edge of Reality, by Maze Theory games. Release date: Sept 30. I've been dying for a 3d doctor who game. (I'm not into that found-phone game format that just released.)
Oh and bc Of my fear of Fish I can't really Play subnautica very well, as much as I like the game, I hope I can get over it some day, as I really have try'd.

Heading back to school tomorrow, so you'll probably see a lot less of me from 8am - 4pm. Feeling nervous but quietly confident about exams and revision, and it'll be good to see friends again.
@CactusMan Thanks! I was worried about how much spike damage my party would receive, it turned out to be minimal so it was easy taking most of these guys out. I did have a few spike defense gems but they're surprisingly hard to come by.
@Sunsy
Yes, but still at the beginning part after Nemo and his Dad arrived in a school with other sea creatures.
I didn't play a lot when i got my games from delivery as i have to test and played other games to make sure i got acceptable products.
Wait, you said the revision of Finding Nemo Gamecube version have faster loading tume. FYI, my Gamecube disc color for Finding Nemo was Orange and Indigo colors. I saw a Nemo as loading screen but it seems the loading screen was pretty fast.
@Anti-Matter Good, it sounds like you have the revised version. Reason I ask because of the version I bought having quicker load times than what I originally rented, so it made me curious.
The original release I rented took forever to load, which made me happy the revised version fixed that problem. Though I don't think there's a difference with the disc label or packaging as it is the same game, THQ and Traveler Tales were pretty quiet about fixing the load times.
@NintendoByNature Will do! It should arrive tomorrow. It'll likely be awhile before I play it though.
@Losermagnet Yep, I've heard of bot flies and am very glad they don't live in my general vicinity. There was at least one Monsters Inside Me episode on Animal Planet where someone became an unwitting host. Interesting show, but very dramatized.
@MarioLover92 The Club Nintendo discounts just as that service was closing was how I got a start on my Wii U VC collection. Though it's been long enough that I can't recall which acquisitions they were outside of the quantity: 3. I'm fairly sure one was Super Mario World though. I unfortunately didn't jump on the Club Nintendo train until late in the service's lifespan, so the only physical reward I have to show for it is a 3/DS multi cart case. Plenty of games you could get for coins; "free" still beats a percentage off any day.
With Super Paper Mario, the story was pleasantly dark for a Mario game, though I didn't fully realize it until Scammer's Kingdom was basically erased. Add in Mimi's infamous transformation and Mario softcore dying and heading to the Underwhere...lol. The game also has some really great tunes. Fingers crossed TTYD materializes again soon. I've been dying to play it.
On Xenoblade Chronicles: I suspect I know which fight you might be referring to, but I'm gonna need you to confirm anyway. It has been a year. XD
@BruceCM I got the Switch physical version at half price, so I can't complain! That said, while I'm looking forward to the game, it'll be a long time before I play it.
Currently playing: Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy (Switch)

@Tyranexx the first i heard about them was a video that youtube recommended to me for some reason I cant fathom. It was a bunny having one removed at a vet office. Bleck!
@Snatcher I actually got Subnautica for free on PS and i've never played it. It really intrigues me, but I already have too many sleepless nights.
@ogo79 will it vanquish my enemies? Does it know what's best in life?
