Topic: The Chit-Chat Thread

@Snatcher - If we could get it all into a notepad doc, then we can mess around with some command language to find instances of locked comment sections, but first we’d need to find some kind of regular trait every time a section was locked and build the right command to find it. Basically, we’d need to work on it simultaneously. You could just read and mark the entire document, and I could experiment with the commands, and we could get together at the end of the week and discuss what we’ve found. Most likely, we’ll then need that second week for you to read the doc several more times while I refine my command, and then, at the end of the second week; we could probably declare a winner.

@NatiaAdamo I understand that feeling very well! When I was in college I had a few experiences and learned I was straight. This stuff can be confusing at times!

@MarioLover92 Oh gosh, another game series I need to play: Portal. Though I'm somewhat familiar with how GLaDOS operates. Those E.M.M.I. robots remind me of a combination of her and the creatures from the Alien franchise. That'll get the blood moving a little lol. As for Luigi's Mansion 3, I really enjoyed the puzzles in the previous games. I think it'll be right up my alley!

So that was a nice evening of gaming I had. Played Ninjala for about an hour, and did some missions in Wing Commander Privateer.

@SM3DASislit Had to let you know, it's been awhile since I played Ninjala, once I got back into the swing of it, won a game tonight! Decided to use some of the free jala on the Ninjala Pass mini to motivate me to play more.

@BloodNinja Waaaaay to easy for me to figure out I was straight, Uh bc of some, TMI stuff but ya.

So, i'm going to get some anyway, but are thumb grips worth it? and do they really improve playing FPS games on the switch?

@Krull I mean... I read some comments to see what other humans think about certain topics but thing is, people tend to forget that we're a video gaming community, that likes video games. Some trolls, like the guy who made a thread a few hours ago, like turning something so normal into a political tirade.

@bimmy-lee We have more keyboard warriors and armchair experts than ever. At least the good guys are here too though. And besides, I have an ignore button, if people piss me off I won't give them my attention!

@NatiaAdamo I echo @BloodNinja. We set up Christmas decorations in November so there's nothing stopping us from celebrating pride all year. Thing is, as you say, there's no transition. It's like flipping a switch.

@Sunsy We watched "A Quiet Place: Part II" the other day, one of the most suspenseful, terrifying films I've seen. Do you like horror films? Because while I'm not a fan of slashers, psychological horror's a terrifying rabbit hole I have a bizarre connection to. I hate horror but getting scared like that gives me such a rush that can't be replicated.

@TheJGG Oh, totally. I completely get why they had to lock the comment threads. I’m just amazed that things got to that point. I feel like I never used to see so much vitriol on this site - even when the PlayBox fans visit to trash talk Nintendo. Anyway, I don’t want to stir things up any more. I like what the site is doing, but I’m surprised by the backlash. Guess people are going to people.

I did it, I finished reading dragon ball Z. Its true, I know so much about dragon ball z, but I never actually read the manga or the anime, I know all that I do from clips and reading the wiki, to the point were I know the story itself, the thing is tho, there are little things, I don't really know, So I went on the read the manga, there was stuff here and there I didn't know so I now have a better understanding of the DBZ story, Maybe I will read super, bc I haven't finished the anime but I know so much about that already.

I was able to finish the manga in about a week and a half, so not a long time.

@ogo79 I’m terrible with blow darts, I always failed that class. Much better with shuriken. Actual fun fact: I used to be able to throw ten shuriken at the same time from a single hand, and make them stick in the wood target. I’m very sad to have had to stop learning to use them, because I later discovered that owning them was a felony in my region so I had to move them along.
