Yup, @Tyranexx they've began stating that vaccines are legal for minors here as well. The rules here are quite silly, because now they've been revised, so nobody can do anything if they're not vaccinated, which is currently impossible for kids. It's stupid. I'm expecting when I get mine I'll need to call time off, I usually don't deal with illness that well. Strangely for the last two years around September time I've fallen ill for what feels like two months (and usually is). I get a bad temperature, I feel cold and weak, and I can't move that much. So I hope it doesn't treat me too bad.

Because the US is a democracy there's nothing the government can do apart from encourage people to get vaccinated. Some Arabic countries have committed to not allowing any activity for people unless they vaccinate and I can already imagine elderly American women (or as we like to call them, Karens) complaining about it. I remember watching a clip of a Florida council meeting where some of the lamest and most puerile excuses for not wearing masks was presented. "How can I breathe with my God-given gifts?"

I completely sympathise with your mentality regarding being alone. Almost down to the word, honestly! I can say the same too, I've tried to develop relationships while I can, and also respecting my own need for privacy. I went out to a mall last week, and it reminded me about the joys of socialising and company. One of the more fun days I've had in a while.

I mixed most... most of my arrangements with headphones, so while they work fine with computer speakers perfectly, headphones wouldn't be too bad. There is of course the danger it'll become easier to spot the fact that not a single instrument is real, and notice various sounds and instruments I've used. But I've made sure they feel "full" if you will. Enjoy 'em! I added some newer songs that I arranged since that folder was created, so hopefully you can enjoy those too.

Game Builder Garage... man it's so dependant on the player. I'd prefer an experience like Dreams on PS4, where you can play hundreds of thousands of player made games. Not just platformers or racers, full sized RPGs for crying out loud. Makes me wonder just how far video game development can go from here, if such a powerful tool is already commercially available.

I'm not sure if playing the original Final Fantasy VII will help me when playing the remake, since I know all the plot points. I'm willing to play games like Final Fantasy X, but FF7 and for that matter FF8 and FF9, are so dated that the design will be archaic enough to interrupt the experience. Hence, my jumping straight into Remake.

I played some Breath of the Wild today and man it's so fun playing on Master Mode. I have to say that the original game is far too easy to go back to now, because of a lack of combat challenge. I liked having tougher enemies in the starting area, but as soon as you leave the Plateau the game becomes broken. Can't wait to face the gold variants of enemies, because those'll give me a good challenge.

@WoomyNNYes... man that's awesome. Thanks for sharing that, I'm always up for learning more about life, the universe, and everything!

@Vortexeo I haven't played FF8 or FF9, and honestly I've had little incentive to do so. The games have aged quite poorly gameplay and graphic-wise, so I can't imagine it'll be fun.

FFX is different strangely, because the graphics are secondary to the experience. There's voice acting, some stunning full motion video cutscenes, amazing combat as you say, and great music. I love the sphere grid, and while I love level based progress as much as the next person... the sphere grid is a fantastic substitute.

I'd say FFXII doesn't nail the Zodiac Job boards, it's weird to have to buy licenses for armour you see lying around in a chest, or in a shop. But the Gambit system... it's nothing special today but being able to fully customise your party AI.. is simply put, fantastic.

Nap time for me! Man that article is getting heated,

And I really do feel like its made to make people mad, and I see some comments saying "Oh man what has this site come to " and "Wish Smarter people were reading this site" And the truth is, articles like this just tend to bring out the worst in people, so idk why NL felt the need to make a article about it, when alot of us kinda moved on, and not even that what is it, there 3rd article about this already I mean come on!

@WoomyNNYes Interesting share, so thanks. That picture basically represents looking at our very own origin, our building blocks, seeing as literally EVERYTHING in this world and the next exists of atoms. So weird and wonderful at the same time. Food for thought, surely.

@Snatcher Well, although I definitely agree with your sentiments on yet another disposable media company wanting to enter the video gaming arena definitely being something to not be happy about at all, they've actually already entered before, with the Stranger Things game which is obviously already released, so it was already kind of staring us in the face that they had something planned along those lines.

FFVIII has been remastered, so that looks pretty good now, @TheJGG... & FFIX still looks good! Neither has the weird graphics of original FFVII, at least
I'd definitely recommend IX, at least, that's my favourite

That is understandable. I'm not sure if you knew this already but they did add some nice QOL improvements to VII, VIII, and IX. I've only played VII so far but you can actually turn off wild encounters, speed up everything, and even have infinite limit breaks. I'm sure there are people who don't like these but I really do think they help a ton for new players or people who just want to enjoy the story.

Add me on switch if you like Xenoblade :)

@BruceCM Does VIII and IX have a big overworld to explore like in VII? I really enjoyed exploring it but I think the only issue I had was that I would get lost so frequently lol.

As I suspected, I was completely exhausted from my day trip yesterday. Not only from some hiking and physical activity, but it's surprising how draining ~5 cumulative hours of driving can have on a person as well. I had a VERY good day, but I had quite a headache when I arrived home yesterday evening. I took plenty of pictures. I'll post a few of them within the next couple of days...hopefully.

@HeavyArms55 I didn't mind the separate releases of Fates per se as each route could easily serve as its own release with all of its content. I just wish there had been a way to grab the Revelations route physically without relying on that three-in-one cart. Like you, I am glad they didn't apply the same approach to Three Houses. Speaking of FE3H, I just recently picked it up but haven't played it yet. I can't really comment on it, though from what little you've mentioned, I already knew about. No worries on any potential spoilers there.

I haven't completely written off Revelation, though I suspect it'll be some time before I play it if I do download it. It will be nice to see how they try to tie the two routes together, though I've admittedly heard...mixed things about this execution. Like you've said, it would be best to judge for myself. While some internet critiques certainly aren't wrong, I doubt I would've enjoyed Metroid: Other M as much as I did if I hadn't went in with an open mind. That game wasn't worth full price, but I would have paid nearly three times the amount I put down and still come away satisfied; I bought it for around $7 new.

Ah, that's the word I was looking for: yandere. My brain kept jumping to "tsundere" when writing that, but I knew that wasn't quite it. XD

@BruceCM I'm sure! I'm not afraid to use guides in most situations, other than it's sometimes an effort to find some walkthrough variants without spoilers.

@MarioLover92 I may be biased, but I think some of those Pokemon maps I made weren't half bad! I also made a short-lived comic for a forum I was part of that used sprites and assets from Mega Man Battle Network. Some of what I wrote then was a bit cringe, but they're still entertaining in their own way!

I'm not against watching sports in person, but even baseball can be sort of boring if it's one of those games where nobody scores. Then it feels like a waste of tickets, plus you have to put up with the crowds and overpriced everything. It's been years since I've been to an actual game. But yeah, in general, sports aren't for me. Game-wise, I also prefer RPGs, platformers, action/adventure games, the occasional puzzle game, and I'm starting to dig into visual novels a little...or I will be once I fire up Ace Attorney Trilogy!

"Excellent" game design in Sonic '06....Well, I do concur that it's entertaining! I've seen a couple of videos. Probably the most glitchy game I've played in recent memory was the Wii U version of Darksiders: Warmastered Edition. War kept falling through the floor in one part of the game during a boss fight, to the point where I couldn't progress. That wasn't the only issue, but it was the last straw lol.

@TheJGG If I were you, I'd call a couple days off just to be on the safe side when you get the vaccine. My side effects were thankfully few, but I timed my second dose (Statistically, the worse of the two) close to a weekend in case I needed the recovery time. Nothing more than a little fatigue and arm soreness, thankfully. I don't fall truly ill often, but when I do....Well, it depends on the illness. Sometimes I (unwisely, depending on the symptoms) try to power through it all, other times I pretty much stick to my bed or couch and wait things out lol. Yes, the US can only encourage people to be vaccinated, not forced. Though some businesses are within their rights to require an employee to get the vaccine, though this has to be within compliance of other workplace laws and policies. Trust me, there are plenty of Karens and Kens out there. In many shades, shapes, and sizes lol.

I'm one of those crazy introverts who recharges best when I'm alone. I used to think I wasn't a people person, but it turned out that was a time in my life where I didn't get many breaks to myself. I now say I'm a people person...just in limited doses. I had a lot of fun when I got out and about within the confines of my state yesterday. Many of the conversations I had were nice, if not at times the slightly polite and superficial kind that is quite common in society. There was also a bit of a derp moment that I can smile and laugh about, though it was embarrassing at the time; I nearly walked off without taking a bag of merchandise I'd purchased. In my defense, I was pretty tired by that point lol.

I'm still listening to those remixes! I've been gradually listening to them as I browse the forums. Not all at once, but so far I've enjoyed everything I've heard! No fuss on whether the instruments are "real"; while I certainly like orchestrated soundtracks, those aren't the only sort I'm drawn to.

Definitely looking forward to see what people come up with in Game Builder Garage. I've seen some footage of some of what has come out of Dreams. It truly is amazing what can result from such tools if the time and effort is put in! Tools like this really let gaming shine IMO; it is, at its core, an art form in the right hands.

In my case, I feel I owe it to myself to try the original Final Fantasy VII, if only to try to see and understand what captivated players when it first hit the masses. I'm still on the fence about getting VIII, but I definitely wish to try out IX as well. I'm expecting them to be a little hard on the eyes - early 3D graphics don't age as well - but graphics rarely if ever make or break a game for me. I'm more into coherent plots for certain types of games, decent mechanics/fun gameplay, and intuitive controls more than how pretty everything is. That said, I'm a sucker for 16-bit graphics. Those have aged very well.

Oof, that reminds me, I still need to pick up Breath of the Wild's DLC! More to try the extra content related to the Champions than anything else. I truly wish to learn more about them. Maybe Revali isn't such a self-absorbed, pompous jerk?

Got shot #2 of moderna vaccine friday evening. Shot-giver person said you 12 hours after the shot, you're likely to feel flu-like symptoms. In my case, they were right. Crazy headache, sore neck, and exhausted af, and my shoulder feels like a proper bruise. Felt like sh*t today, slept a good deal of the day.

Watched Moneyball (the movie). pretty good.
Watched Transformers The Last Knight on demand. Didn't expect to like that, but it was ok. Stopped it half way into the movie. When I went to resume the movie, it only played from the start, and you can't fast forward --- stupid. Guess I'm not going to see the second half. What a bunch of baloney.

I'm sorry to see Northwind got sucked into unpleasantness here. It's been a while since someone pushed my buttons. I've gotten better at not bringing ego to NL.(still not perfect, though.)

I saw this Star Trek Next Gen episode for the first time a couple weeks ago. Seeing @ogo79 communicate with animated gifs reminded me of how the Tamarian's speak in metaphorical imagery only XD (this isn't a put down, just seemed funny to me) This episode was weird, but strangely good.

I swear if NL ends up making another amiibo article for Skyward Sword, I might just Blow up LOL.

But really, why are they not doing anything about to comments? there always quick to shut down stuff like this if it gets to heated but Lord, its toxic as hell in there and they wont drain the gas, I might just delete my comment as I don't want anything to do with that article anymore, It is really making me think they did it just to piss us off.
