@Zuljaras Just ask @Snatcher. Besides, ANY comments section underneath an article involving Zelda, Pokémon or Amiibo is almost guaranteed to be toxic by default.

But yeah, they are fun to watch, aren't they? Whenever you have a bad day, Bad Lip Reading will light up your day, so just put their YouTube channel in your bookmark favorites and you're sorted.

@Zuljaras Yeah... you can NEVER have enough Bad Lip Reading. And just stop and think for a while how much time they must spend for each and everyone of those clips, finding words and sentences that fit with the lip sync, then also making a script into a funny and cohesive whole, and you'll probably be looking at days if not weeks for each clip they make. And by now they've made tons of them.

Well... just as I reply to you stating that vaccines have opened, I've now been scheduled to get vaccinated tomorrow morning @Tyranexx... hearing the news made me very happy. I'd usually refrain from replying on consecutive days but I'm sure tomorrow I'll be far too tired to budge. My immune system is sketchy so I'm expecting stronger side effects... never would I have imagined I'd voluntarily get myself ill...

I've emailed in, and I'm now free tomorrow so I've very much taken your advice. I'm still unsure as to how much time I need, but I'm quite healthy, so I could recover in a day. Or maybe it'll take three, but I'll make sure to document my findings. Luckily I have two couches at my disposal; one upstairs in front of the television I use for gaming, and another downstairs. I won't be surprised if I end up falling asleep.

Once again your experience is eerily similar to my own. Maybe you're a time traveller who reincarnates into me... or something. I dunno. With things like going out with friends, it's fun only to a certain extent, after which it feels like a waste. Before these new rules came in I went to the mall as I mentioned, and it's very different depending on who you go with. Friends are what you need; they bring a new lease of life to various places and experiences.

Glad you're enjoying them! I've downloaded some music recently to boost my creative flow, because I want to adapt some of my arrangements for OverClocked Remix. I may as well use the talent if I have it. Be it pitch, tempo change, or adding new stuff in, but 1:1 remixes aren't the best. I'm hoping I can tackle some Final Fantasy songs next, maybe from X, since it draws so much from synths and such. Maybe a Final Fantasy X medley is in order...

There's a few interesting games coming out soon. For example; Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. I plan to buy it for Switch, but while I will buy it I'm a bit disappointed with the underwhelming nature of the HD remaster of this game. Shame, because I imagine the game must have had some dated, or flat our wrong aspects of game design that wouldn't hold up today. Things like an easy mode are good for trash gamers like me... but it feels so barebones. Plan on getting it, or are you still evaluating?

I'm also excited for Final Fantasy XVI, especially after playing XV in depth over the weekend. I love XV's direction, because the graphics are so good, the story's more or less amazing so far, the combat is so smooth, the music is incredible, and the world design isn't the worst. Can't wait until you obtain a PS5, so we can trade notes on games exclusive to the PlayStation ecosystem, like Final Fantasy VII Remake and XVI soon.

I'm just a big fan of sci-fi fantasy RPGs in general, games that have fantasy settings but blend high tech and sci-fi in. Xenoblade Chronicles is one such game because of the organic Bionis and the mechanical Mechonis, a perfect story that needs no elaboration. Eos, therefore, is another world I'm loving. A world based on our's crammed with FF lore, population and enemies? I love it. I love this game. I would ask to have it directly injected into my bloodstream but I'm getting vaccinated so not yet. Graphics don't bother me but the FF7 and FF8 games were remastered quite lazily. Which is why those two in particular are unlikely for me in the future. I may get 7 if Square announce something good at E3 but who knows. 16-bit ironically is timeless, so it's hard to get it wrong.

All this gameplay and you haven't even gotten the DLC? It adds a respectable chunk of playtime on top of your old save, so I'm sure you'll have a ton of fun with it! I won't go into detail but I respect Revali a lot more after seeing him not only in The Champion's Ballad, but also Age of Calamity...

SEGA really screwed those guys over. I remember they did God of War 3 Remastered so they didnt completely shut their doors If you look up how BigRedButton got basically short changed by SEGA it's actually kinda sad.

@Snatcher please do as I want to know what is considered toxic here. For example if I say that Pokemon Sun and Moon are better that Sword and Shield and the animations in SS are like copy and paste I am called toxic person which is idiotic

@Haruki_NLI Yeah, that's true. I never said they were treated completely fairly, but they DID make a mess of Sonic Boom, no arguments possible on that one. And even besides the Wii U, it was also a mess on other consoles: texture pop-in, clipping/falling through levels, and so on and so on, so it most definitely wasn't all that. A game in that state should NEVER have been released, no matter what excuse they might have been able to come up with. It was basically an unfinished, not completely play-tested product. Some might even call it nothing more than a beta version.

And besides that, considering the level of graphics and detail that was already possible with CryEngine back then, it looked decidedly bland as well, even if you consider that it was a cartoony game.

But anyway, all in all, they were largely responsible for their own demise, so the fact that they also did some things right with other games, does nothing to diminish that.

@Zuljaras Nah, that's only novice level toxic. There's people on here, typically newer members, for some kind of reason, who take it to a whole other level. But I wouldn't want to bring any of that in here, so I'll leave it to @Snatcher or anyone else who cares to comment, to elaborate on that.

@ThanosReXXX - You rang? Hey, sorry about that, I forgot to get back about Anti. I’m not really sure what’s going on. I’ve pretty much given up Instagram except for one specific use, and that’s where Anti and I used to text. I’ve turned all notifications off and pretty much don’t use it. I did try to talk him through some of his peculiar situations there in the past when he would reach out, but I eventually came to understand he must just enjoy the drama; so I’m not interested in trying to help if it’ll never actually be received. It’s too repetitious, and in this crazy ole pandemic planet we’re all living in; I got more than plenty on my own plate and not nearly enough patience. I can actually see you nodding your head vigorously as your read this, haha.

Crytek themselves had already managed to make the CryEngine 3 run on the Wii U, and beautifully as well, by the way. So, I guess that the credits for that will also NOT go to BigRedButton...

@ThanosReXXX I saw some new users that have created threads specifically for the negative things about the Switch. That is what I call toxic intent.

@Zuljaras What you said there is opinion, and getting called toxic for it is plain stupid, But for the amiibo article, There is one (More then that but i'm using them for now) guy who is about a month old account, and not only did he feel the need to get all huffy when his so called "Facts" were proven as not being true, or on The MH thread there was a guy that did nothing but complain about the game, And he wanted to start getting al rude to jaxion, Jaxion tells him what he needs to know and proceeds to be very rude about it, on top of that gloating saying he has been playing since FU (Freedom unite), But oh no it wont stop there, next the guy ask people about something I can't remember, and just bc he was having a hard time with it he felt the need to call this a "Bumhole" ye so if you ask me thats pretty toxic. (And as of now he has been banned)

there was also this other time (Again on the MH thread) were this dude didn't like what we had to say, and felt the need to attack our religion for no good reason anti, jaxion and I couple of other people put him on ignore, I never did, and I have yet to see the dude since then.

Back on the amiibo topic once more, there have been all sorts of attack on what people think, to calling everyone on this site a idiot, to not having smart reader's, its alot and the fact that it wasn't dealt with alot annoys me.

Even more proof stems from how Hot goomba and Northwind have taken a break off this site due to the toxic things happening as of late, and frankly I have been getting sick of it, JGG wont even touch the comments bc of how toxic it is and most of it comes form the new users who think this is just a twitter, and the site itself at times, The amiibo article has got to be made to trigger people, bc why in the world would you go ahead and make a article you know for a fact will spew toxic air, and whats even worse, they wont even delete the comments, no matter how bad they get LOL.

And thats all the proof I have on why this place can be toxic, and on another thread some won pointed out how its much calmer on the threads then the comments, @TheJGG also feels this way and has for a long time.

@bimmy-lee Really? Oh, okay. I actually wasn't expecting that. I always had this idea that you were talking to him on a somewhat regular basis. Had no idea that even your help was falling on deaf ears. Oh, well.
I guess we will find out whatever's up if he ever decides to pop back in again.

I do hate open endings, though, so if he doesn't return then we'll never know and that kinda irks me.

@Zuljaras Well, those are also adding fuel to the fire, but what me and @Snatcher are talking about is people coming into comments sections to poke the bear, so to speak, simply to fan the flames of whatever discussion is already going on, and usually also bashing each and every individual that doesn't agree with them.

It's the epitome of being a keyboard warrior. The lowest of the low. Bottom dwellers that still find pleasure in flaming and trolling. They probably feel right at home on a Kotaku or IGN forum, or the average YouTube comments section...

@ThanosReXXX - I just double checked what I wrote to you, and it reads a bit harsh even though it’s the truth. Since things changed last March, my “work” days are basically 7a to 10p, and most of my participation online as suffered as a result. It’s been exhausting and rewarding, but personal time is very rare. We’re nearing the end of our home school year, and the schedule has just started to relax enough that I can get back on here and post from time to time.

@Zuljaras And as cool as that is, I just wish it would work more often, Don't get me wrong, there have been alot of times I would just drop a report and its done just like that, BUUUUUUT take a look at that amiibo article one more time, see how its at 300 comments, now go look at half of em, most of them are just toxic reply's or some body that feels the need to attack anybody who doesn't agree with them.
