Hey Nintendo Lifers, as yesterday the 4th of July was my nation's independence day i thought i might show some patriotizem. I did this by selecting a fireworks profile pic. Unbenounced to me, apparently yesterday was also my profile anniversary. So it appears it will be fireworks for me for next few months as i'm stuck with em.
That is true for the pics that are shown on the articles and forums pages themselves @HobbitGamer. But not the one on Nintendolife's homepage where all the new articles and the last 8 forums to have a post are located. So basically just the last 8 forums to get a post so no biggie.
@Tyranexx Ah.. yes, in that case, I can understand someone undergoing the procedure. Probably would do so myself as well. You can't laugh at cartoon characters, though. Since they're not real, it doesn't count...
As for driving: not that it's needed anymore, but you could have always added a -6 windshield to your car...
@Morpheel Hm... getting mesmerized by clear tea... Some people are very easily entertained, I suppose.
Some weird tea varieties you got over there, if some of them produce cloudy liquids. Over here, all tea is clear. There's only a color difference. The only way for me to get any kind of cloud in my tea, is to add some milk...
@Heavyarms55 Full Metal Alchemist the best anime? No way, man. The best anime series ever is obviously the Legend of the Overfiend saga, aka Urotsukidoji.
Nah, just kidding. Agreed on Full Metal Alchemist being really good, but there's hundreds more, and I've collected quite a few over the years, so I find it quite difficult to say which one is the best, also because my taste is quite varied, so I like a whole lot of different anime series and movies. Maybe I'll browse through my collection somewhere in the next couple of days, to come up with a few good ones of my own, that might pique @MarioLover92's interest as well.
@BacklogBlues I've no idea how you came by that idea, because your profile pic can't exist out of more than one image, and there are no different ones on different pages or topics. You can only ever have one. The only thing that is true, and that is probably what happened to you, is that the picture isn't immediately updated everywhere, so you'll see your new picture in the top right corner, but not in the last few forum topics on the front page, who are right underneath that, also on the right side.
You can try emptying your browser's cache and/or cookies for the Nintendo Life site, but that doesn't always work, and usually, the picture eventually gets updated automatically at some point. But either way, the picture you've selected and which is visible on your profile page, will eventually be the only picture that you'll see on any and all posts, whether that's underneath an article or in a forum topic.
On a side note: I haven't seen any fireworks on your avatar pic. Not here, and not on your profile. All I see is the "Qube 2" picture.
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
We have a masala chai mix that clouds the water. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s meant to be, but this one does.
It’s very strong (it has a lot of ginger), so you kinda need to add milk to it, anyway.
I tried making a pitcher of it once (without milk, of course), even after adding a lot of plain water it was still strong, and it didn’t look too nice.
Talking about cloudy tea, my brothers house is in an area where tap water is definitely not drinking quality, it Is hard water. My mom once made the mistake of making tea with it, and the result was a tea with a fine layer of disgusting.
If you click on the Nintendolife home page button then scroll down to the forum topics on the right side @ThanosReXXX you'll see that my profile pic is still fireworks. Now your correct that all my article and forum web page posts are the new qube 2 pic.
@Morpheel Sounds tasty, except for the milk part, though. Not really partial to the whole milk in my tea thing. I usually only have green tea in stock myself. Not plain, mind you, all kinds of different flavors, and maybe some specific fruit teas, depending on the season, and usually also a kind or various kinds of Rooibos tea.
Don't know if you can get that over there, but it's really good.

@BacklogBlues I'll only see you, if you're the most recent poster, so that's not the case right now. But either way, that's exactly what I described, about the picture not being updated everywhere at the same time. I have it as well, because I recently selected a new profile picture too.
@Morpheel Powder mixes? As in instant-tea? That's not tea, that's chemical produce, aka rubbish.
Tea needs to be fresh, and needs no milk, in any kind. Over here in the Netherlands, only the British are known to put milk in their tea. And sometimes, the Dutch put milk in their children's tea, to make it less strong, but most, if not all adults drink their tea pure, to get all of the natural tastes and flavors, untainted by any other extra ingredient. Well, except for sugar and/or honey, for those that prefer their tea sweetened.

@BacklogBlues Haha, no. You'll be fine in a couple of days. As it so happens, I took screenshots of my avatar change, so I can give you the before and after...
Before update:
After update:
In both cases, my profile pic is visible in the top forum post, and as you can see, the first one shows a different picture, and the second one shows that since today, the picture has updated, to mirror the one that's in the top right corner.
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@Morpheel I don't exactly know how to interpret that, but if drinking tea pure is gate keeping, then I guess that's what I'm doing. To each their own of course, but to me, putting milk in my tea is ruining it.
By the way: if you prefer dark tea, then you'll probably also like Earl Grey. And there's also dark varieties of Rooibos.
Well I just went out on a limb and bought stranger things 3 the game before I read some reviews. Love the show already half way through the 3rd season. Don't worry no spoilers folks 😉. I just hope the game is good. Looks like a good snes style puzzle action adventure game
@NintendoByNature - We did the first two episodes of season three last night. Good stuff. I love that the mall is the big backdrop this year, after the school in season one, and the arcade in season two. Architecturally, the mall seems a bit more early/mid 90s, but they nailed the mid 80s storefronts. There was a picture perfect Sam Goody music store in the second episode. It’s really jarring how much all the kid actors have aged since season two.
