@NEStalgia Well, that's entirely your own fault. Glass half empty people like you shouldn't even be playing happy-happy-joy-joy games like Yoshi's Crafted World in the first place. And your Switch knows that. The fan spinning up is your Switch letting you know that it's angry about such an affront...

It was just fun timing that you said about the fan right after I'd posted that. But to be clear the fan noise didn't "bother" me - I'm not Zuljaras I just happened to note that that's the first game during which I happened to note there was any sound at all. Not the game you'd expect would pull absolute max power on a Switch....

@NEStalgia People slaying Titans? That'll be the day... You'd probably have a bigger chance of surviving when trying to stop a moving train...

But in all seriousness: maybe the Switches' fan wasn't spinning out of control yet, but I'm seriously expecting you to be the person to not only notice but also be bothered by that, based upon all the hardware-related stuff you've been going through so far, so I don't think it would be out of the ordinary for people to expect that.

Meanwhile, on the main site, this Mad Titan is deciding if he should or shouldn't regret having made a post in the comments section of the Dad dating simulator article, because the negative-focused idiots are already slowly starting to creep towards the surface...

@ThanosReXXX The only problem with that solution is that I'd also need to swap out all the other windows for my prescription too! That might get pretty expensive lol. At least in the long-term, I'll save on glasses and contacts as neither are particularly cheap lol.

@Tyranexx I've got a post order service for my contact lenses, that costs me around 40 bucks a month, all inclusive (lenses, fluids and container).

Somehow, I'm really really really glad i entirely missed this "Daddy dating simulator" thread. Really really really glad..... The Pokemon thread where the world was ending because not every Pokemon ever made was going into the game, and no longer can we withstand gamefreaks horrible abuse of their fans and abandonment of an their promises was enough drama for one week. The only thing that could cap off this week of "As the NL Turns" would be an article looking to kotaku about smash being mysogenist. Again.

It's a T-rated game, so it's probably not as pervy or creepy as you think.

Anyway the comments section there is not all that bad. We just got the regular amount of users saying "I won't play that" and people just calling them out on it. As usual.

It could've been much Much worse tbh.

I mean if you have your standard fare of preteen with water ballon breasts stuff that hetero guys play and say nothing is wrong with it, why not let the hetero women and gay guys have their turn? Personally I was shocked at how mild the screens look in comparison to most the the stuff featuring girls(like i said preteens most of em) I don't think I've seen a promo screenshot yet with a shirtless guy, which would be the equivalent on the flip side. Not my cup of tea either way but I'm happy somebody is leveling the playing field so to speak. Might as well as make thirst equal opportunity. lol.

@NEStalgia Don't forget blinking lights. You really infected me with that, by the way. Yesterday, the yellow light on my Wii U suddenly lit up, and now I'm constantly wondering what the heck it updated. Must be one of my games, because the last system update was already done last week. But I can never find any update info anywhere, or it's just that I don't know where to look.

Luckily, I'm able to let go enough for it not to ruin my sleep...

@RedderRugfish I saw plenty of references to the developers (in the comments section), but that meant nothing to me, because I have no idea who they are, so that completely flew over my head.

@Morpheel True, it isn't nearly as bad as some comments sections have been in the past, but if you, like me, think you're posting a constructive comment, regardless of me not being interested in the game itself, you don't expect to get criticized, but I guess that's the internet for 'ya...

@RedderRugfish Well, don't get me wrong I think it's gross either way. However I know that it is more "acceptable" to objectify (usually underage/teenage) females. As a woman who grew up in such a culture I find it uncomfortable as heck. But it isn't going anywhere short of leaving Earth. It is the weaker path to take, but I sorta hope that now that hetero women are being more blunt about what they want that it will make guys uncomfortable and eventually the practice at least in gaming will fade. (it won't but it was worth me laughing my arse off at all the offended guys during the BOTW segments when the Treehouse women kept stripping Link, when many of the upset folks had just finished talking about the size of one of the member's breasts. Especially considering that she doesn't attempt to show off her cleavage, but you can't hide your size, no matter how many T-shirts and jackets you wear.) Walking a mile another's shoes and all. And before anybody harps about wanting everybody in burkas or parkas that isn't the point I'm making.

And before this derails. That is really all I have to say on it. pervs are gonna perv but at least let it be equal opportunity so that both sides know what it feels like.

I’ll probably end up on some dad dates. My wife likes dialogue tree games, and we have fun with them from time to time. This particular subject matter will be irresistible to her, and to be honest; it will be fun for me to do the voice acting. She likes these kinds of games, Mario Tennis, the swipe games like Kings and Queens, and Voez. I just like playing games with her, as long as she’s having fun, I don’t really care what I’m playing.
