@NintendoByNature You sure can fish in GK! But the guy with a rod wants some stuff and he’s on the other side of the village from my place soooo.... he’s a low priority haha.
I just replaced Fork In The Road with an improved version!! I’m trying out a lot of folks’ stuff now, and I may work on my Legends of the Hidden Temple level idea over my four day weekend.

@NintendoByNature Have to correct myself there: 50/50 is actually not correct. There's only a small chance you'll get the fishing game, as I've just found out. Guess I've been lucky, the previous times. Although: lucky... it's only platinum coins, for which you only get lousy stuff anyway.
In about 8 of the 10 times you log on, you'll get either the fishing mini game, or a mini "game" where your Mii is chasing a coin, and all you have to do to collect it, is click on your Mii. In all other instances, you'll get some weird kind of animation/sketch featuring your Mii doing something, and him reacting in various ways, when you click on him, but that yields no coins.
Anyway, this is what it looks like:
(what also works, if you don't land on the fishing game straight away, is to simply keep refreshing the page, once you're logged in)
How it works, is pretty simple: if your Mii's eyes grow large, then there's something on your hook. Simply click on the pond or floater, to reel it in, and then you'll see if you've caught a coin or something useless/semi-comical...
Have fun fishing.
P.S.
You've still got a double post four comments before this one...

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
@ThanosReXXX ahh yea my guy is always chasing coin, sounds like me in real life 😉. And yea my phone was acting up and double posted. Took care of it though. If I see a pond I'll be sure to drop a line
Whew, just had a whirlwind couple of days, but they were a lot of fun. Hosting old friends is great, but I think I was into my reserves by the time I got them to the airport. We hadn’t seen each other for a little over two years.
@ThanosReXXX - Hey friend, I couldn’t watch the first half yesterday, but we got planted in a pub for the second half. It wasn’t ideal, because the sound was off, and the color and play by play really helps keep me informed during the match. I can watch an NFL game with the sound off, and sometimes I have a better understanding of what’s happening; but I need the extra expertise with football. Another tense match, at least the second half. It seemed like they were playing more for survival with Rapinoe sitting. Hope she’s good for the final. It sounds like she will be from what little I’ve seen. When I look up the Dutch women’s schedule, it shows 3:00 pm today EST. Not sure what that means exactly because I can’t tell where the match is being played.
@bimmy-lee Yeah, I can understand. Watching sports without sound would seem horrible to me, though.
So usually, if there's something I really want to see, then I either go home, or I see to it that I'm with friends who are also into it, so that we can enjoy it together.
The match was nail-bitingly, almost excruciatingly exciting. With goals coming left and right in the first 20 minutes, and after that, it became a bit of a stalemate for a while, then the irritations and the fouls started to occur, also due to a denied goal, and a penalty. Don't know if you saw that bit. Was the damn video ref again...
As for the play schedule: the Dutch women's match starts at 9pm local time, which is exactly 5 hours and 43 minutes from now.
@ThanosReXXX - Wow, night match in the Netherlands. What a scene that will be. You watching at home in a controlled environment or headed out into the wild?
@bimmy-lee At home. Got a big screen all to myself, and in the city, it's far too crowded for my taste, to be honest, with events like these. If I had some friends around, I might go, but most of them live outside of Amsterdam, and besides that, they too are more of the "rather watch it at home" type.
I think I've mentioned this before, but I like to be able to see the details, and in a stadium or in a crowded environment, things can escape our attention, or we're simply sat too far off the the pitch, to be able to tell.
As for the night match thing: most of the matches so far have been around this time, so nothing out of the ordinary for us. Only in the group stages, when they played two matches a day, did we get one match that was broadcasted a bit earlier. At 6pm local time, to be exact.
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@ThanosReXXX - Yep, I’m the same way for Colts games. Gotta watch them at home where I can concentrate, be in the flow, and affect the game with fan karma and superstitious voodoo. I’m on two different group texts during the game with two groups of friends who are the same way. At different times, we watched the games together, but we’d all rather watch from home at this point. I’ll let you know if I get the match and have an opportunity to watch.
@NintendoByNature - Heck yeah, it’s going to be disgusting outside the next few days, but I’m stoking up the old Weber regardless. I have some nice smoked sausages and everything for onion/pepper kabobs on standby, as well our first batch of sweet corn. I need to get that soaking. Still trying to get out and burn a gift certificate at the meat market for some bone in ribeye steaks. I’m not going to even ask IF you’re cooking, instead I’ll just ask what’s on the menu?
