Taking a break from IRL tonight after being insanely busy the last few days. I just finished dinner, am doing my internet rounds, and will likely visit the pages of Middle-Earth next.

I'd love to have this. I have a plain N3DS in immaculate condition though, so I can't justify it lol.
I'd actually prefer the normal-sized N3DS if I could get a hold of a new one at a decent price. I'm sure you've seen me complain about how NoA handled all of that before, so I'll spare you the text. XD I figured that $150 USD + Super Mario Kart was worth it as it's the same price as the N2DS XL. I'm not entirely fond of the latter's design and lack of 3D.
I'm still rocking an original red 3DS, so I figured it was finally time to upgrade after almost seven years. I'll still be keeping the old one around for some use/a backup.
It hasn't shipped yet (went with free shipping, so it won't be here until the middle of next week at the earliest), so I can still cancel it in case of that unlikely event.

Same here! I think that New Nintendo 3DS (not XL) is the best 3DS/2DS model. It has the perfect size and the low resolution looks much better on the smaller screens increasing the pixel density. I keep mine as a treasure because not even in Europe is available anymore.
So I’m having a blast with Let’s Go Pikachu. The A button on the thumb stick of the Pokeball hasn’t presented any issues, and catching is satisfying. The graphics are great to me. I’m enjoying my purchase.
