Thinking park will be opens in Pripyat on third moon. Many bumping cars, the wheel of Ferris Bueler, cafeteria from locals wilding stocks. This bring tens of peoples. App made of geigers.

@PokemonGirl99 I haven't seen anything new in the news since the last announcement in early summer. We're all going to google it just like you. The last announcement (early summer) put the everything in the US on hold until covid gets under control, when & if we get a vaccine.

You could try asking Universal Hollywood via their contact page. Pick general park info as the subject. Ask if they can tell you anything about when it's opening, or construction. Although, be ready for them to say that they can't say until a vaccine is out and covid is under control.

EDIT: Footage of construction at Universal Hollywood posted late august. It looks like people are just flying drones, and there's still no official announcement. No opening info, because covid. (I searched youtube "mario world universal hollywood" and sorted results by upload date)

@PokemonGirl99 Nintendo Direct for Super Nintendo World Japan (not hollywood, but still cool). Japan location scheduled to open February 4th, 2021. No Hollywood timeframe info.

The first one is pure nightmare fuel.

So I've been following construction pretty closely, as well as rumors and it's looking pretty good. Basically:
They've begun to paint the outside of the Feature Presentation store to have the window frames be warp-pipe green. This store has been closed for a couple months as they worked on converting it from Harry Potter to what seems very likely to be Super Nintendo World. Yesterday, they moved the Ford Angela car that has been in front of the store for years, meaning they are getting ready to open the store very soon. Mar10 Day seems to be a likely day for its opening, and hopefully some details with it.

A lot points to all of the interiors being done, with the ride more or less ready to go
Detailing has been moving fast on the exteriors, including rockwork and themed walls. Seems like they'll start putting in some of the moving pieces (like the clouds) and characters pretty soon.

They were likely slowed down due to staffing shortages and such during omicron, there were actually cancelled events in the park as a result of that so I'm guessing the land was equally impacted. Still, given all of this, it could very well be ready by September (as has been rumored as well) with possibly a late 2022 or early 2023 opening.
