While I despise most kids TV shows, I actually quite enjoy this one. All the characters are portrayed perfectly, and the Peter/Gwyn twist is a welcome surprise. Anyone else a fan of the show?
You beat me to starting a topic about this. This show is one of the only cartoons I would ever watch, and easily my favorite. All of the fights are fantastic, but it's the subplots (i.e. Peter struggling to choose between Liz Allan and Gwen Stacy) that really give it the depth of a more adult show. Stan Lee even made a cameo in the first episode of Season Two! On a side note, the complete second season, for those who are impatient and/or don't have cable, can be viewed here.
Spectacular SpiderMan is the best SpiderMan show ever. To bad Disney has it and is going to kill it. Only Disney can find a way to kill freaking SPIDERMAN...

Wow. I watched episodes 4 & 5 just now. DAMN, those were awesome. I hope Pete hooks back up with Gwen.
Best episodes in Season Two so far, I think you'll agree. (I've only watched that far also.) Though I was a bit disappointed that the Master Planner turned or to be Otto, but it was unexpected at least. I hereby proclaim the return of Eddie Brock/Venom! And yeah, Gwen is better.
While I count down the days until I allow myself to watch the next episode: Livin' on the edge, fighting crime, spinning webs...
I can't wait, I gotta watch the next ep. And yes, 4/5 are definitely the best eps so far. I liked how they made Otto the master planner. It was pleasantly unexpected, and his master plan was very clever. I'm interested in where Kraven and Mysterio are lurking, though.
I just finished the second season. That was incredible. The final episode was an amazing finale. Twists, turns, and a spectacular ending. I'm so glad Peter and Gwen are back together.
If you like Spiderman at all, you have got to watch this show.
@Locke+Cole: That's the only way he can be defeated, unless he's shot or something. And I don't think Venom will be back for a while. I'm expecting Carnage in the next season.
Well the thing is I don't see why Eddie always has to lose the symbiote everytime he is defeated. It's going to get boring if everytime he loses it we have to see another episode of him regaining it. In the comics even when Venom was defeated most of the time he didn't lose the symbiote in the fight, and plus the symbiote is in itself a character too considering its living. It has intelligence, so wouldn't it be thinking "Hey I don't want this host, he always loses, he's weak!" so I think next time Eddie gets the symbiote he should keep it and if defeated, go into hiding and regain his strength, planning his next attack. This would creep the hell out of Parker as he wouldn't know when Venom would strike next. Which makes the Venom character so great in my opinion.
And well to get Carnage you would need Venom since the Carnage symbiote is born off the Venom symbiote which then moves onto Cletus Kasady. Very confusing stuff I know. I'm gonna guess that they'll team up defeating Spider-Man with Carnage then becoming more powerful than Venom, leading to Old friends (now enemies), Spider-Man and Venom to team up and defeat Carnage.
