I find anonymous inherently amusing. They seem to earnestly believe that their (frankly hilarious) pantomime-villain Youtube videos will result in Morgan Freeman staring in terror and disbelief in a secret CIA headquarters, whilst holding a phone to the president who is screaming at him to send out the armies.

The reality is it's a bit like turning up to school in a home-made Batman outfit to fight the bullies, and not expecting to get the piss taken out of you and your nose broken.

Anonymous isn't a group.
It's the OPPOSITE of a group, in a group you know the intentions and members
Anonymous is random people, who may or may not use 4chan, who do random things, as random people are prone to do.

You dont go to anonymous.com and sign up for your free guy fawkes mask in the mail, along with your membership card.

if 15yr old script kiddies take down pbs.org, it's a different group than the ones fighting scientology, which is a different group than the ones taking on Neo-nazis.

That's why so few of the projects get done by them. They either get bored and move on to the next, or get in over their heads and stop.

I would prefer they not hack anyone. What if you had credit/debit card info on a company's servers when a hack occurred, and your personal data got stolen? That's what happened the last time PSN got hacked and Sony had to shut it down for a month.
