Two months is a long time. I mean why would you not check your account for two months?

I don't check all of my accounts regularly and would only notice something was up when I got the quarterly statement through.

In terms of disputing it with your bank, two months isn't too long for it to be reported.
Initiating a chargeback may be an option to get the funds back. You can even offer to send your bank a copy of your attempts to resolve it with Nintendo support so they have that when doing their own fraud investigation.

There is a chance that initiating a chargeback could cause Nintendo to freeze your account pending the resolution of the issue though, so you'd need to weigh that up before making your decision.

If it helps at all, if the bank finds in your favor, Nintendo are obligated to unfreeze your account. It's a months long process though.

Probably depends on the amount I guess. I generally check mine fortnightly because that's when my pay goes in. I have a general idea of how much should be in there. I'm fairly sure I'd spot an odd $200 transaction but I'm mostly looking at the balance when I check. It's definitely within the realms of possibility to miss $200

But at the same time if there's a transaction through PayPal I get an email notification. Also Nintendo sends you an email notification when you make a purchase from the eShop. I find it very hard to believe you could miss a $200 purchase on the eShop...... bit odd....

But yeah, moral of the story: Don't save your card/PayPal to digital storefronts

Hi everyone thanks for your comments I really appreciate all your inputs. Ill keep you updated when I can call them back to speak with a manager, and if nothing works i'll go to my bank.

I wanna clarify one thing about me not watching my bank account or not receiving alerts or anything.I work far from home for long streches at a time 1-2-3 months sometimes and most of the time its 7/7. And when I am working, no I don't check my bank account cause the only thing I spend for is food and I use debit. I barely have time to cook everyday before its time to go to bed and i am exhausted, the last thing I think about is checking my credit card that I don't use.

But yeah I agree with everyone I shouldv noticed faster and I sure will be more carefull with that in the future.
