Have you ever walked into a trading post, and seeing something that is/think it is rare? Well, post your pictures, and someone may be able to tell you whether it is or not. and you can just show off your stuff if you want,.

My game store has a copy of Earthbound for $100 and a Virtual Boy (with no batteries, unfortunately).

Deviant_Mugen

I have a copy of Metroid for the NES that looks well taken care of, does that count? Just the cart with a protective sleeve, though...

@BedCommando: I miss that game...

I found copies of Chameleon Twist and Mischief Makers a while ago, two games I never thought I would see again.

Is a PlayStation 1 rare? Given the circumstances of our time period, I believe so. If so, I have one in ye olde dusty storage, it belonged to my uncle.

The rarest thing I own is a jacket from the Super Starfox Weekend competition back in 1993. You could only get the jacket by winning amongst your competition in a locale. The competition was held in roughly 2,000 different spots so only about 2,000 of these jackets were made. I was born in 1992 though so I obviously didn't get the jacket myself. My dad bought it from a co-worker for 40 bucks! what a freaking steal! I once saw one go on ebay for over 300 dollars! Other rare stuff I have includes a Starfox pin from the same competition (Everyone competing got one. I recieved the pin from the same guy for free), A gold Toys'r'us exclusive N64 in its box, 2 virtual Boys in box, the Pokemon center exclusive gold Gameboy Advance in box, and.....Shantae for Gameboy Color brand new in its box!!!.......just kidding.....I WISH I had that...

I have a copy of Earthbound with the Strategy guide and the box, as well as a copy of Final Fantasy 3 with the glich. I also have the Nintendo Power 100 issue shirt that I won from the contest in that issue.

@Tasuki: Wow man. You have Earthbound in its box!? That's crazy! That's one of the gems I've been trying to track down for years. Out of curiosity, did you just stumble upon it for a really good price or did you bite the bullet and pay a small fortune?

Nope I bought it brand new when if first came out and have kept it since. (I take really good care of my games and the boxes and the books etc.)

I have Ikaruga, Skies of Arcadia Legend, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, and a limited edition Ocarina of Time cart along with a limited edition Majora's Mask cart. I know they aren't rare, but they are pretty expensive. I think the rarest game I have is One Piece: Unlimited Adventure, which is sold on Amazon for $70. Plus I have a special Punch Out!! Shirt from Gamestop for their launch event.
