Eh, they're okay. I have fun but I prefer the places we're going to. We only go to two places: 100 mile house, British Columbia and Guadalajara, Jalisco.

I'm not really active here anymore. So it goes.
We used to go to Minnesota each summer to fish, and we would either do a one day 12 hour drive, or a two day drive at 6 hours each.
I think the drive up was the most memorable part of those trips, lol. I even played through most of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories during one particular trip.
The last trip we had was to South Dakota a few years ago. Played through the entirety of Bleach: the Blade of Fate, during that trip. There was also this huge tourist draw we visited called Wall Drug.
So in short, yes. There's just something magical about them.
What part of MN did you go to? I live in the central part of the state..
We went fishing on Lake Winnibigoshish, near Bena, in the northern part of the state.

My family used to take road trips to Chicago all the time. Now a days we go to closer places less frequently, like Kansas City or The Mall of America.
I think I enjoy road trips, but I like getting to the place way more than the trip up.

There's not many opportunities to go on proper road trips in the UK, seeing that you can get just about anywhere on the main island in less than a day. Longest possible trip is about 13 hours with no stops and no traffic (thank you Google Maps)
The closest thing I've been on is going from London to Italy for a school skiing trip in a coach. And I can tell you right now, that was not enjoyable in the slightest... Stupid kid deciding that putting his coke in a open-top souvenir glass right next to me was the best idea in the world... Spilled on me in the first two hours, and my jeans were sticky for the rest of the trip back... Eurotunnel delayed for 5 freaking hours on the way there, three on the way back...
I always fall asleep on road trips, even when I try not to...
Do I like them? Yeah, they're alright; I guess. They're better if I have a handheld though.
I remember completing Kirby: Mouse Attack in one playthrough during a road trip.

Eh, yeah I guess but I've been on airplane trips more often and I prefer those more. Road trips are fun, but for me, nothing beats the entire experience of just... airplanes.
