In today's episode, Xkhaoz and NP tumble into the tangle of portals known as Pipe Plaza. They eventually work their way to a Pipe which leads to the Night Forest Galaxy, made up of planetoids resembling a thick forest at night. Whilst there, they find a Brown Luma which accuses Xkhaoz of stealing his body! NP and Xkhaoz put 2 and 2 together and realise that this Luma must be the original Hoot!

Meanwhile, the Phantom Rangers - along with an army of Boos and Big Boos - storm into the Koopa Kingdom and burst into Koopa Castle. The Rangers subdue Bowser, the Magikoopas and the Koopalings, and the Red Phantom Ranger appoints himself as ruler, to which the others concede as he is potentially the most powerful.

NP and Xkhaoz eventually team up with Hoot Luma in search of the White Power Coin, which is back in Pipe Plaza. They navigate the network of mazes, and discover that Iggy Koopa laid a trap in advance (possibly when the Rangers realised Xkhaoz was the future White Ranger) in the form of Grimy Slime, a horrible creature made from jelly. NP's attacks have little to no effect on Grimy Slime as he is impervious to cold and never sleeps. The Skyblue Ranger begins to worry when he learns that Grimy Slime swallowed and destroyed the White Coin, leading Xkhaoz to go into a feathered frenzy by clawing and biting at Grimy Slime. Grimy Slime eats Xkhaoz!

Meanwhile, back in Boopa Kingdom, the Red Phantom Ranger is making 'his' Koopa Patrollers dance and perform for him under threat of 'fireballing their shelled hides'. Peach notices Bowser in a prison cell nearby and they eventually come to an agreement: if Peach frees the Rangers and drives away the Boos with a wish, Bowser will set her free. Peach makes her wish for the Rangers to be free and the Boos to be gone, and it comes true. The Rangers realise what's happened and head back to Gadd Lab. The Boos disappear to an unspecified location. Bowser keeps his side of the agreement, and Peach is free...but only to live in 'luxury' imprisoned in the Guest Suite!

Back in Pipe Plaza, NP watches as Hoot Luma changes back into an owl, who states that his return to his true form must be the result of Xkhaoz going 'Game Over'. Grimy Slime says that the owl he ate suddenly isn't agreeing with him, and suddenly, a gleaming white figure bursts from his...uh...maybe it's best left unsaid. The figure soars to the top of the room, shaking his tail - that's right, tail - and turning into a statue, which slams onto Grimy Slime, squishing and defeating him. The statue turns into the White Ranger, who powers down, revealing Xkhaoz...who has regained his memories of being a human and retained his memories of being in the Mushroom Kingdom as well. Hoot decides to remain with the Rangers as it turns out he was always Gadd's assistant in the first place!
