Let's not mention HIMYM and leave it alone. If it seems overrated right now it's because it literally has only two episodes left and it's done for good. It's also one of my favorites. And yes, I'm super sad that it's almost over.

Every episode I've seen looks more like a dude just wrote whatever random thing popped into his head without even trying to be witty or clever or even trying make sense. Heck, I could probably write an Adventure Time episode in my sleep.
The whole child-like stream of consciousness thing is part of the appeal, if you like the show. The whole thing reminds me of the stupid imagination games I played as a kid.
It's also one of the things people who don't like the show specifically mention.
Has anyone seen Trailer park boys? it's coming back with a 8th season and is a popular show, it's one of my favorite shows but I want to know if anyone ever thought it was overrated/
I don't get the hype for Walking Dead. I watch. I like it. But even then it's only "good" for me. (And CM Punk was introduced as Phil Brooks, noooo.) Nothing amazing. Adventure Time is crap. Sorry.

Good to know you find it appealing, but I can't stand it. I can appreciate a show that's trying to be the best it can be, even if it fails, but Adventure Time just seems like they're not even trying at all, and to me that's when a show truly becomes crap.
Hmm... I occasionally enjoy Big Bang theory... I ABSOLOUTELY (I don't know if I spelt that right) love How I met your Mother, The office, Suburgatory, And, of course, anything Mtv has ever made...

I'll echo the sentiment that Big Bang Theory is overrated. It makes Everybody Loves Raymond look brilliant in comparison.
I enjoy Adventure Time. It certainly isn't for everyone; it's a little silly. But it's very much the kind of cartoon that I've always been fond of. Namely, it has a great art style and sense of humour. It's also very cleverly written, which I can appreciate.
Walking Dead is overrated. It's not terrible or anything, it's just not very good.
I personally think Archer is overrated. I don't find it quite as funny as a lot of people do.
Breaking Bad is amazing, but hardly the best show of all time.
Star Wars ... i'm not gona say its bad or anything like that x-x" i just find anything related to Star Wars (save for the family guy parodies) to be incredibly boring. i've never been able to get through a movie without giving up half way through and picking up a game, or falling asleep, i've never been able to motivate myself to keep up with its tv show, and heck if i cant even get into its movies or its show im not even gona bother trying with its books. again i'm not trying to say Star Wars is bad. i do understand the appeal, but it's just not for me.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Big Bang Theory after session 1/2 are two that comes to mind straight away as well as How I Met Your Mother after session 3.
