Wow, didn't know people actually respected my comments so much. I was almost sure my comments came across as some of the most abrasive and arrogant on the site (which sometimes is true). Guess they aren't all bad then

@BinaryFragger: No, I'm old. Actually most of this thread is old, I'm really old, even for this thread. "With age comes wisdom" can practically be the thread title. OK, thats a bit arrogant, obnoxious and over the top, even for a Piper winky face.

@JaxonH: Your problem is you're just too nice, you bring out the nutters, people always seem to lose it with you. They try their hardest to get your goat, you don't bite, and they explode. As far as I can tell all the normal people like you.

I like that you tend to look on the positive in any issue whatsoever, no matter how tiny it may be. Because after all, video games are just a hobby. (I seriously hope you get the point of the last part)

What fun is being positive? It's more fun to talk about negative things that may impact our lives in meaningless ways

A lot of people have accused me of never criticizing Nintendo, which, to a certain extent is true but it's only because I just don't see much to be upset about. I'm the same way with Sony and MS. But even I get ticked off about things, sometimes, most recent example being Nintendo of America getting scant with us on the LE's.

Every region and country in the world has a Mario Maker bundle for preorder, except the US. Same for Chibi Robo. And no Fatal Frame physical LE like EU got either. Even the Yoshi Wooly World bundle has only gone live at TRU website briefly and then removed, putting even it in doubt. The only thing we know we're getting for sure is a Xenoblade X LE, and that's it. Hopefully Fire Emblem Fates will get one but at this rate I'm beginning to worry.

So ya, I have my own gripes from time to time, but by and large I just don't see video games as something to get upset about. It's like going out to eat every weekend and spending all your time complaining about the food lol. Games are fun, just play great games and let the rest be.

I do wish more would take that approach, for sure.

Yes, it's a different question. Like, I think zerkie is an awful human being, but I like reading his comments.
