I don't call myself an artist but I do like to make some comics and draw a lot. I've also lately been doing some non-digital painting albeit not game-related.

I do have some game-related art I've made though. Here's some of the drawings I've made on Miiverse:

I've also toyed with Colors! 3D and made these two game-related paintings:

The Palutena painting was traced over a screenshot of an in-game AR idol but it did function as a study on realistic humanlike models and shadowing.

Something different this time:

I think it's called engraving art or something. Basically you scratch off the black part to reveal white. I couldn't find the actual tool that you're supposed to use so I used some tools I had for polymer clay. They're not as precise so I didn't do any texturing. I searched for some simple characters I thought would look good even without texturing.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the white part glows in the dark.

EDIT2: Well, that was a thing... Seems like the link to my image now links to another picture of someone's tattoo. I suppose image sharing sites reuse links but I just uploaded the image few days ago. I uploaded the image on a different site, maybe this link will last longer.

@Late: Looks really good! What did you use to make them?

The ones I use are Royal & Langnickel's engraving art sheets. I bought some blank sheets with glow in the dark parts hidden underneath. You use the tool that's shown in the picture to scratch off the black part and reveal the background color. We did these in art class back in high school. I encountered these last year on a trip to Baltic countries so I bought one. I haven't seen these at local stores or art shops in Finland and I'm not sure what they're actually called so I ordered more from US.

@Late: Ah, thanks! I remember doing something with something similar in lower elementary school but it definitely was not glow in the dark nor white. It was brown.

Too bad I just returned back home to Finland from a short vacation in Lithuania though! Oh well, I guess I'll stick to painting.

@Megumi: I'm not sure if I'm able to help but what image are you referring to? I'm certainly not a pro when it comes to drawing but I'm interested. I'm more of a black and white guy though. The last time I colored a drawing of mine was 4 years ago.

It's mainly a School Rumble wallpaper I put together last year I think, with all of the girls. Though when you look at it some of the characters look off (pixelated/blurry, or wasn't edited right). Was hoping to have someone recreate it and make some edits/changes to make it look better. (was hoping to be all swimsuits at some point and make it beach theme, seems kinda popular for that anime, lol)

Lemme know if you still want to try, not entirely sure if I uploaded my latest version somewhere or not. (I kinda gave up looking for help before. xD)

@Megumi: I'm not familiar with School Rumble but I can give it a try if you can find a reference picture for me. I'm still learning how to draw poses. I've always been more of a "copy-paste guy" meaning that I can draw but I need a picture that I can look at all times while drawing. So it would be nice if the provided picture could be close to what you want it to be like. Would you prefer it to be digital art? I haven't used my Wacom drawing tablet for quite a while but I'm sure I can get used to it pretty quickly. That way I can add some color to it too. I'm ready to help but you can say no too if this sounds too much of a hassle.

@Late: Yeah digital would make everything look cleaner, the most I can do for references is just give you the link to the wikia. Sooo...>.>

Ok, at least someone is trying, been trying for help for a long time on deviantArt. xD
Either I'm ignored or they say they'll do it and end up vanishing from the internet.

But yeah, kinda just want it to be beach themed or something.

@Megumi_Sagano: I've got some bad news. It seems I don't really have time to draw the picture I promised.

I thought I'd be able to draw it even though I have a lot of school work to do before summer vacation. Now it's just two weeks left and I have to finish multiple projects. 3D game engine, physics engine, visual effects demo and an AI for a game.

In addition to those I got even more things to do now. I'm a huge fan of Zero Escape series and at the start of the month Project Bluebird announced a thank you project where fans can submit their art, music, etc. and they'll send them to Kotaro Uchikoshi, the father of the series. I'll be programming a game and I have to make art for it too. The deadline is at the end of the month so I must really hurry to get everything running.

And for some reason Aksys Games thought it would be a great idea to announce a drawing contest the next day and it's deadline is in 1,5 weeks. It's the first time they've held a contest for Europe and there are Zero Escape pre-order watches as a prize. Those have never been available in Europe and they're sold for 100€ on eBay so I can't justify getting one. Now I at least have a chance of getting one.

I hope you understand. I'm very sorry for this turn of events.
