@Kyloctopus If you look past the fact that the characters are all brightly colored and sunshine and rainbows everywhere, the ponies are legitimately good characters, with excellent development and personality. Plus, no matter if you like ponies or not, you have to admit that Hasbro is awesome for making an official ad like this:
I never get this love of MLP. My friend's brother (who is 19) loves the show. His mother now thinks he's homosexual.
Things like this just leave me dumbfounded. These absolutely ridiculous stereotypes, like the old ones that liking musicals, or Barbra Streisand is an indicator of being gay. I don't care of you like "Babs", "A Chorus Line" and watch soap operas all day. I think Barbra is a Hell of an actress, but I'm straight as the proverbial board. Whatever stereotypes exist, which gender/s you're with is the one and only indicator of sexuality.
There are a couple of things you get accused of being an older male who likes the show: You're gay, or you're immature. First of all, any WOMAN who loves football like we love ponies would pretty much be considered the perfect woman/mate by a man. She'd be playfully dismissed as tomboyish by anyone else, and certainly wouldn't be called a lesbian.
As for the immaturity part, I doubt you'll hear someone who watches "The Simpsons", "Family Guy", "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", or anything like that called immature. Adults like cartoons too, hence the existence and popularity of Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.
All this is just because of the misconception of this iteration of MLP being "girly" based on its past incarnations that we guys catch flack. I would think it's a positive, and indicator that we're in touch with our gentler side, instead of brutish cave men. Of course, with terms like "man cave" popular these days, I guess we still live in dark ages where there are guidelines for manliness a guy is supposed to follow. Well, I don't care about them. I'm man enough to like what I want to unapologetically, and I LOVE PONIES!

@Everypony As for Kid Icarus: Uprising vs. Mario Kart 7 onlines, I love both of them. Loving KI more right now, because I feel like I stand a better chance at a decent finish. Whether it's that I'm better at KI, I don't know. I just felt I was powerless against being left in the dust in MK7. And, I like that whatever you do in KI, you stand a chance at an item (and usually pretty good items at that). I thoroughly enjoy playing both games online, though.
Gay doesn't equal feminine. You are still a man if you are gay. You can also be as masculine as any straight guy. Being gay does NOT necessarily mean you will like a certain type of show/musical/movie. It ONLY means you are attracted to the same sex as your own. It does NOT have any control over your other characteristics. I am a gay man. I don't necessarily care one way or another about this MLP show and I am NOT a "bronie". I also do NOT think that watching a particular show is making any of these straight men or "bronies" gay. They just like the show. Grow up people, it's 2012. Live and let live.

@Blue_Ace While I've never rage quit, I certainly find the mirror courses frustrating.
@TeeJay I like that KI doesn't have a ranking system. I hate the vr, it's no indication of real skill, just how long you've been playing online. I also like that KI notifies you when a friend is waiting to join. There were a few times where I waited to race, then my friend quit playing.
@Corporal_Pegasus You're right! Only 2 more episodes, and there's no new episode next week. The wait for season 3 is gonna suck.

@photofool83 Well said. It blows my mind that we're into a new millenium and it's so important to others who a complete stranger marries, and sleeps with behind closed doors in their own time. Which gender a friend of mine prefers is about is as important to me as their preference between Coke and Pepsi. I blame a lot of it on politicians trying to inflame their "base" into action with rhetoric. But, that's a conversation for another place.

@Wildvine53 I loved all the references to other material today. Murder on the Orient Express, Holmes & Watson, The "dastardly, mustachioed villain" of yesteryear, who tied the woman to the train track, James Bond, and a classic NES game!
@FluttershyGuy Yes this episode was filled with awesome references, I just wish there had been a Scooby Doo rubber mask reveal when they caught the caper, "I would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for you meddling Ponies!". That would have been the best possible thing ever!

Well Hello there brony friends! I believe I saw a couple of new names: WELCOME!
How have you all been? I hope not as bad as me. Had a terrible week, I got sick last weekend, just before final exam week; lucky me. I totally failed that one again. Oh well that is what recoursing is for, is just one class. Also I was supposed to be on vacations right now, but one of our dearest teachers decided to task us with an extra project to be delivered next week.
But I made time to warch both last week and today pony episodes yay,; and to come and say hi.
I already feel better. I loved both episodes btw they were amazing, some of the best of the season imo, PC was so ballanced with anough from the mane 6 but good focus on the CMC. MMMotFE was just hylarious, Pinkie Pie is a joy. Classic detective parody with a silent movie villian, a spy and a ninja... brilliant! And TS was amazing, which makes me happy. Also, both episodes left something pretty clear, Princess Celestia has quite a sweet tooth. Cannon. .
On another happy note I finally got a copy of KI:U. On a sad note I suck at it, I'm gonna need that horrible extra stick blocky add on to play this properly, hard for me to use the touch screen to aim or move on the top screen. What's with 3DS games and its controls that make me feel like a noob? Well is playable, and soon I'll be able to play it with you guys, and you all will pwn me and I'll just enjoy the ride.
But first thing I'll do once I have time is reeeeeeeeeead PONIES!! Stories have stacked up, which is not that bad I need all that poninspiration. School totally quenched my creativity, so I need to calm down and try to recapture all I wanted to write on my story. Don't worry I am not by any means abandoning it, but may take a bit.
