Sometimes, knowing that the person who is the hard rock guy/girl ended up buying and enjoying the Backstreet Boys can sometimes leave us feeling embarrassed (even if there is no reason to be).
NOT HERE THOUGH! This thread is for those of you who want to reveal their deepest, darkest guilty pleasures in music. What album/single did you purchase and enjoy that you, probably, wont be running to your offline friends to tell about? Don't worry about other people here making fun of your choice as, you can be certain, there are about 10 other people in your situation . Also, even if others judge you, (even though it probably isn't a lot), I promise not to (whether you like Nickelback, Justin Bieber, Green Day, whoever ).
I'll start. I will admit it here. I am 21 years old. I am a straight male. I am African American. I have Believe from Justin Bieber (please don't hurt me) .
The only album from the past that will make you lol would be that Kate Bush one from the 80's (Ba bushka Ba bushka bye bye) my mum got it for my 9th birthday although I thought Kate was a bit of a looker back then
That I've bought? Nope. That I own from gifts? Oh yes. The Pride album from White Lion. They're the band that symbolized everything wrong with hairmetal, unlike other bands that symbolized everything right about it i.e. Whitesnake, Def Lepard, etc. I enjoyed it anyway.
Best thread ever

I bought Backstreet Boys, but every idiot who was 10 did so whatever. I got Willenium and loved it for no apparent reason beyond the undeniable fact that Will Smith is awesome. Honestly, I have a feeling the most embarrassing album I have is that Sum 41 one from like...2001? I dunno. One of the countless lame rock bands from the early 2000s that helped kill popular rock music for the later half of the 2000s, but I'd probably still enjoy Fat Lip (or Phat Lip, I think they were actually that lame) for nostalgia.
also that's a harsh putdown for Green Day. What did Green Day ever do to you?
Uh...This is a pretty decent thing to ask. Well, I guess some Raw's 10th Anniversary soundtrack or something like that? It just has the themes of a bunch of wrestlers. Idk, I never use to buy CD's much.
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

I have all five Maroon 5 albums. The reason I don't tell anyone is because most people think they're either gay or annoying.
The problem with Maroon 5 isn't that, they just lack personality or originality, like most teen-pop. and no I'm not judging anyone, I'm giving my opinion
On-topic, I don't really fell embarassed for any music albums I bought.

Not sure why you would have to hide listening to one of the most popular bands out right now. And songs about Jane is a great album.
I unironicly listen to Pomplamoose. I guess thats about it. I'm pretty open that I listen Tocantins variety of genres and while I skewer towards the pitchfork crowd you can still find stuff like Kanas or Carley Ray Jespen.
My first CD was a Hilary Duff CD though and I got it over I think Linking Parks Meteora.
WAT!

@Sony_70
didn't you say in one of the threads a while back that you have Nickelback as a guilty pleasue?
I think my dirty secret about music is two things: A) My iPod is loaded with Parry Gripp songs (DON'T JUDGE!)
and B) For some reason I bought Just Dance on the iTunes store. One of 2 songs by Lady GaGa that I like, the other is Born This Way.
They Might Be Giants. I put on one with my friends over and they made fun of me, so no one else knows.
They Might Be Giants are great. That is one of the dumbest CD's to get made fun over. Your friend just doesn't have a good taste in music. @Sony_70 You should be proud to own a Gaga Album. Although yeah, most kids I've talked to briefly don't seem to like her. But whatever! GAGA!
