Watched First Man... it was OK. Not as good as Ad Astra, but it was more of a character study that just happened to involve space travel, rather than a movie actually about space travel.

Also watched Requiem for a Dream on 4k Blu-Ray, a movie Ive seen more times than I can count. First time in 4k though. It's depressing, but its required viewing. They should show it in schools as it has a very strong anti-drug message. Also watched Platoon on 4k Blu-Ray. Good classic movie, there.

About to check out Lord of War on 4k Blu-Ray with Nicolas Cage. Wanted to get vibing with Cage again before watching The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Will probably watch The Rock on blu-ray after this too.

@Owl1 you know, they could have at least used it to show it to a friend or something, what the heck are you going to do with your now grainy wallpaper!

@Snatcher I feel small with my Pixel 7 (not pro or a)...

@Owl1 I question if a pro can even capture something that well in a theater, u less there phones are that bright!

@Snatcher they didn't have the phone on full bright, but you could still see it since even on lowest brightness there is a glow.

@Owl1 holy, try and cover it up or something, like is it so hard for people to be considerate? Like is it that hard, there were multiple ways im sure they could a went about it, but pick the least considerate option, goodness.

@Professor_Plumber I know. I just wanted to point out that I have a base 7 and not a "special" one.

pretty much all you need is a 7 anyway, Google keeps adding things in patches that just adds value to the phone.

@Professor_Plumber I'm a Google Fanboy (as he types this on his HP Chromebook staring at his Pixel 7 wishing was a Pixel tablet).

@Professor_Plumber like I said, I will wait for the Gen 3 of anything new from Google.

@Professor_Plumber Sony seems to be killing it with their new phone that only 2% of people will buy.

@Professor_Plumber the camera on the new one is pretty much the best phone camera yet (I mean duh it's Sony the king of cameras lol)

I don't hate Apple but they make everything so closed in and $$$, very $$$.

@Professor_Plumber to toot Google's horn a little more. They add stuff with updates to keep making the phones better and more feature-packed, mainly just Google Translate and Maps but hey an update is an update.
