@TheSaneInsanity I'm answering this anyway because god this character was wild.
(please don't treat this as an actual answer by the way, I just had war flashbacks reading this post and wanted to respond ).

@Rambler Same, i just like reading it as I have no clue what is going on here, but maybe the topic name should be something a bit less open to interpretation. Like "Answer the obscure question" or something along those lines.

@Bunkerneath You’re not suggesting the title is… poorly worded, are you?
Really though, I’m genuinely quite enjoying the novel and sometimes perplexing interpretations of the topic’s theme that have popped up over the past 14 pages.
I’m quite happy for things to continue to loosely develop in an ill-defined but interesting direction. Sometimes it’s nice to have a place where we can all be pleasantly confused.
Speaking of which, next question:
Who’s that geezer that was the wizard with the pointy hat and the stick in the film? Not the guy who wrote the book about the balloon — the other one. The magnet guy.
This topic feels like most days talking with my daughter "Remember that thing I was talking about the other day about that movie that had that guy in it?"
@dmcc0 Yeah, I was kind of going for a mix of sweetly guileless preschooler and Vague Dave down the pub trying to remember the entire cast of Star Wars after he’s had one too many. But we’ve had various other takes on the theme (including a number of well-woven riddles) and they’ve all been interesting!
@Maxz Ian Mckellen/Gandalf* but I've completely overthought this as I thought it was gonna be something like the distinction between Professor Marvel and The Wizard Of Oz from that film about a teenage girl who starts murdering people for shoes.
*he's doing panto this xmas season, I'm not sure if it's because he's broke or if he just thinks it's fun which has made me tempted to go see him now in Mother Goose where he plays the Goose.
@jump Ian McEwanKellen it is! I could never get those two properly separated in my head. I actually saw him perform as Widow Twanky in a Christmas panto performance of Aladdin many moons ago. We queued outside the theatre door for a while afterwards and I think I’ve still got his autograph knocking around somewhere.
As for @Rambler’s question, it’s not Mr. Bean/Rowan Atkinson is it? This was the first thing that popped into my mind (after the Italian Job).
@Maxz That’s cool of him! I saw Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart preform the Harold Pinter play No Mans Land together but seeing him in panto sounds like more fun as the ushers kept telling me to be quiet whenever I shouted out he’s behind you.
@Barbiegurl777 Who knows, maybe your doll is actually Chucky! Seems like you have friends you can ask though, there are other forums on this same site that I guess you could ask in too.
Games I'm playing right now:
OoT N64
DK64 N64
Lego LotR Wii
Spirit Tracks DS
TotK Switch
@Rambler tbh I’m not sure if I’ve actually seen Bullitt or just seen a clip of that scene.
My turn although I think it was my turn already. Erm…is barbecue chicken a chicken that has been cooked on a barbecue or a chicken marinated in barbecue sauce?
