"Why can't this thing sense your skin? You have to actually press the buttons or something!"
A part of me died when I heard this...
I know right? Also that one girl at the beginning that says, "Girls can play this, why can't it be called Game Boy Girl?" Facepalm
I still remember when that was actually a thing. Nintendo Power even printed a few letters from girls asking if they can play too, or complaining about being told its just for boys.XD
Heh, funny! It's kinda cringey but I mean, I understand that these kids have grown up with totally different technology. Do you really expect them to know about the Game Boy? (A few of them even did) The only things that made me sad was what the kid said about buttons and when the teenage boy said "It's not like there are going to be any amazing games on it." Now that riled me up a little bit.
@NintenNess Awesome avatar! I bet you can't figure out why I like it so much!
@mystman12 Thanks! The reason why I was disappointed is because One of the Kids in this video was more disrespectful. The rest of them, has more respect, but still don't understand it (which is understandable.)

When you think about it, "Game Boy-Girl" would be a more correct and inclusive suggestion for a name instead of just asking "Why can't it be called Game Girl?". Even if it sounds awkward.
Maybe she decided to keep the "Boy" there, because removing it would create the same problem on the inverse.
The GameBoy is a perfectly fine console, but it really hasn't aged well, at least in my opinion. I can't blame the kids for not really "getting it". It's completely different than what they're used to nowadays, and they are only kids, so I don't really know why some people are getting offended that they don't understand it.
Honestly, not to really hate on the Game Boy or anything, but even back in the day some kids (Especially those who knew of the Game Gear and Lynx) would have thought that ghostly, monochromatic thing kinda archaic.
There are some clueless kids and brats in there with some of the comments. I guess this is what you expect from the modern kid growing up in a society with no concept of privacy, everything shoveled up on a touch panel, and no appreciation for any of the stuff as long as it works and not how it got to the point where it would work like that.
My girl is coming up on 3 in a few months and I let her use the old Nintendo and my GB Micro a bit too while I hold it, she won't go down that road.
