Okay, listen. You don't owe any allegience to any company. They make the products for YOU to enjoy, and nothing more. And if you find multiple companies' products entertaining, then purchase and enjoy them to your hearts content. It would not be wise to limit oneself to just a fixed medium of entertainment because of one really great experience. It's fine to like a company, in face I'm rather fond of Nintendo myself (granted I'm on a Nintendo-only site), but that doesn't hinder me from playing games on my Playstation 3; I can play whatever I desire. It's like saying you like trains, and therefore you won't drive a car: totally unrealistic and biased.

This, also you can say you enjoy something simply because it's what you grew up with, or prefer a certain genre. Also nostalgia might play a factor too.
But it's all the same, play what you enjoy, fanboyism is just another meaning for what you prefer as a person.

That actually sums it up quite nicely.

Not this thread again.

If you like a game, why should you care what someone else thinks?

QUEEN OF SASS

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

I think Gadget Nazi would be more accurate in most cases, but there are fanboys in non-tech/gadget related areas as well, so I've thought up a new term that should remove any doubt on whether being a fanboy is a bad thing...

Fancism - a mix of Fan and Fascism.

What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
