Topic: iPhone 5

Well, everybody, the iPhone 5 had been officially unveiled! What do you think of it? Honestly, I'm still not seeing much innovation here. "It's even faster than it was before!" Woop dee do. I think they really are running out of ideas.

I don't care for the iPhone as much as I do for the iPods in general. Apple really stepped up their game in that market!

I'm convinced the 4S was just something they threw together quickly in honor of Steve Jobs.

The 5 might not be as revolutionary as some had hoped, but I'm sure people will buy it by the bucketfuls. Once again I won't be getting one, since a better one will probably come out next year

I think a $299 base price for an iPod Touch 5th gen is just crazy. I bought a 4th gen last year for $199 and it's great, but I'm not paying $300 for a 4" screen this year with all the 7" options out there. Which also means an iPad mini will probably run $349. I think I'm getting a WiiU instead.

And didn't Steve Jobs say a 7" iPad was DOA b/c you would need sandpaper for your fingers? Well how do they explain an iPod Nano w/ a 2 1/2" MULTITOUCH screen? I guess there's a pencil sharpener in every box.

So would it be worth getting if I JUST got a 4s on Friday? I would consider trading it in except that I would need a new case and charger and etc. and i't doesn't seem like a huge upgrade in terms of features anyway.

I'll be passing on the iPhone because I already have a Nano and a cell phone and I don't have any interest in the apps.

Really, really annoyed about the 5. That's another screen resolution to support when programming for the device. It's going to get as bad as developing on Android devices.

I think you'll find Steve had, by the time he became the CEO of Apple, hired people to design Apple products.

@Waltz my biggest worry is Apple successfully banning Samsung phones in the US (since they won the court battle and all). Should I be afraid of this this?
