Since when have they skipped E3?

Srry, i was just making a joke about how Nintendon't do what they do. I meant like we don't need them to do E3 as Nintendo is creative and gives us mini E3's every Nintendo Direct
Edit: But E3 is there to introduce and convince Nintendo consoles are worth it, at least to me

E3 season is starting early this year it seems. We usually don't get the pre-E3 reveals until around may but Halo 5 is showing something tomorrow and Star Wars battlefront in the middle of may.

I really hope EA wises up and builds a 3rd person mode into it. 1st person ruins everything.

My guess is third person will only be used for vehicles and Hero characters. Personally I'd prefer first person especially if the cockpits of vehicles are detailed and the sense of scope they're going for is enhanced when you see a AT-AT crash right in front of you.

I'm mostly worried about what are EA's plans for the single player portion. Just a Galactic conquest with bots thing, or a 8 hour campaign set in the star wars universe.

See, my issue is that Battlefront was never a first person game to begin with (EDIT: I know it allowed both, I just worded that really poorly). My big issue with 1st person, aside from it giving me simulation sickness, is that I feel it's kind of in the "uncanny valley" of perspectives. It's close enough to reality that the lack of a peripheral view and the limited field of view stick out like a sore thumb.

While I'm perfectly okay with 1st person games sticking around for people who like them, I have a problem with games that have traditionally been 3rd person or offered both perspectives turning into 1st person games.

I think Nintendo's E3 digital event (or equivalent event) will include more amiibo stuff such as new ranges like Animal Crossing in addition to a lot of games people here have already mentioned.

Feels a little early for this:

From Nintendo - Release dates, hopefully Metroid and F-Zero, N64/GC virtual console and a few surprises
Microsoft - More butchered Rare franchises, hopefully a new Crimson Skies, more Crackdown 3, Halo 5
Sony - Vita getting screwed over again, more PS4 remasters to fill 2015(but if they announce a new Syphon Filter or a Legend of Dragoon sequel I'll buy 80 PS4s)

and I hope EA never shows up their e3 from last year was horrible nothing but
FPS and sports games over and over again for 1 hour that one hour I will never get back and I watch it on tv(on spike) I hope it is on tv this year
and there will be some 3ds vc stuff added in there and then all the 3rd parties will give there list(that is going to be the most of the games)

EA is already confirmed to be their and we pretty much know their line up.

I assumed that Phantom Dust wouldn't be showed because of it switching developers.

I dunno, but Metroid Dread happens, I'd be fine for either system. Would look epic on the Wii U, but people keep saying a 2D Metroid would be better on 3DS, so...yeah. xD
