Even look at the original price of RPG Maker XP or VX, they're not cheap.
Those have a completely different purpose and market though.
...No, they're the same, Mario Maker you're making a 2D Mario game, RPG Maker you're making an RPG, simple as that. Both tools give you tons of stuff to work with.
Mario maker lets you make a custom Mario game, the RPG maker lets you make a custom RPG. Surely you can see the difference here.

Mario Maker let's you share levels with other people, and you can play levels from other people online. RPG Maker is no online. So you get more for your money from Mario Maker than you do from RPG Maker.

You can still share your game with others online...lol.
Anyways I'm done arguing with him, I'm still going to get this and enjoy it for a long time.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
Mario Maker is $60. I can't believe it. Nintendo's greed these days seems to knows no bounds. This is a feature in a full game at $60. This should be $40 is they seriously wanted to push it. I doubt this game will be that successful. Nintendo's been so greedy lately, that I just don't know what to say. This could start marking in end in my interest in them if they keep it up. I wasn't even interested in getting this game, but I'm still infuriated.
Watch it be €40 in Europe, just like Splatoon.
I just looked it up: I can actually pre-order Maker Maker for €45, and that's the special edition that comes with the book. NOA's pricing seems to be really off sometimes.

That's still a placeholder price. It's also not as easy as just converting the price. €60 for example (the ''full price'' for big games in Europe) is about $68 USD, however there's usually no difference between euro and USD. Mario Kart 8 for example was $60 USD (€53) in the US, but was €60 in Europe as well. In short; $ = €.
Sony said they are backing Shenmue 3 but then why did the game needed to be kickstarted? I am so confused because I thought kickstarter is where projects that has no outside backing?

I heard they were doing the Kickstarter to ensure there was an actual audience for the game.
I doubt they'll give a full campaign. Not like a normal Mario game. I think they're gonna put a few samples that won't take more than 2-3 hours to go through. Possibly less.
I wasn't planning to get Super Mario Maker at full prince initially, but I've been very impressed with the footage I've seen from the NWC and Treehouse broadcasts.
After rewatching all three new Tom Clancy's games,i am super hyped for all of them. They're going to get downgraded like with every Ubisoft game. But still i'm hyped for all of them well not so much for Rainbow siege,i'll wait for reviews. But the Division? I hope one of my friends buy it as well, cause the end of the gameplay video of the game showed what will always happen playing with random people.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

Just like in LittleBig Planet.
Okay, in all seriousness, how long did it take in 1 and 2? Because I played some of one with my sister, but I never finished (because LBP is boring ), and I remember playing for at least a few hours, with a lot of the game left.

I gave up after about 5 levels when I realized the gameplay was super lame, but I did watch someone else play through LBP2 with a higher frstration tolerance than I have, and it only took them about 3 hours, IIRC.
They probably didn't collect a lot of stuff, though.
