I think movies and games aren't compatible, my theory is that most(not all) good games are too long to a movie and most movies are too short to be good games. I think good games with a story worth being turned into something else should become TV series(animated or not)
but to put it bluntly I think it should be Final Fantasy(sincerely all it needs to become a movie series instead of a game is removing the little interactivity that's left in it)

I think Lego City Undercover would make a funny movie.
Zero Escape can make a great movie, but probably a better TV series. The same goes with Fire Emblem.
So what games should get a movie?
I think Uncharted would be a great fit, Nolan North should be casted as Nathan Drake as he will play the role best.
Sly Cooper would make a really good movie. The games already have the story as part of the reason to buy the game. The characters are great and well voiced. I think it would have the potential to be the best animated movie ever.
Uncharted movie = a good looking guy who flirts with women and takes stuff AND he saves the world? Lol, this sounds like various movies to me. James Bond movies walk in and says, "Hi". Classic Tomb Raider movies walks in and says, "Hi" and heck... even classic Indiana Jones movies walks in and says," Hi" In a way... Uncharted movies have already been made just with a few twists on the story.
What video game do I think should get ported to movie format? Fire Emblem: Awakening. It would be funny to see intense medival action amiss all these support conversations.
I'm not sure how James Bond fits aside from the flirting. The Tome Raider movies aren't classics, and a Uncharted movie has much more potential and would feel different. Indiana Jones fits the best so I'm not sure why you put that last like that. I don't see why being a bit similar means a movie shouldn't be made, a lot of good movie would go unmade then. Indiana Jones hasn't been made for a while and a lot of people consider the last one to be a dissapointment (I liked it, but it's another reason for an Unchared movie ) too.
I don't mean to sound weird or anything... but what am I missing from a Uncharted movie? Nathan Drake is just what I said before. A good looking guy who has flings with various women (just like James Bond), he steals stuff (just like James Bond) and he saves the world (just like James Bond). How would a Uncharted movie offer more? You say "Uncharted has much more potential and would feel different"... Just what DOES a Uncharted movie bring to the table??? Sully? Oh, what a sec... Sully reminds me of Q from the James Bond series. I don't think a Uncharted movie would feel any different at all. I like Uncharted, too. I'm not trashing the Uncharted series at all. Those games are very fun and heart racing.
I just think a Uncharted movie would inevitably spin into this: some tanned guy saying quirky one-liners while he's talking to beautiful women and bad guys, going across gorgeous locations to take stuff, and ending up fighting to save the world. Don't forget that he uses guns...
What would be the difference between a Uncharted movie and a James Bond movie? Oh, thats right.. Nathan Drake has a tan and doesn't work for a British agency.
Then again.. maybe a Uncharted movie could work.... I'm thinking about it. LOL XD
Couldn't you compare Indiana Jones and James Bond then, I feel like it's more similar to Jones then that a spy movie. I'm also thinking of the Craig movies by the way. If your talking about the older ones then they use a bunch of gadgets line exploding pens as a trade mark, I don't see how woul it Uncharted. I'm just not persoanally seeing Bond like Uncharted. Maybe it would be Bond and Jones combined if would play out like those movies, that would be an intresting mix to see.
I'm Surprised no one's said Portal yet, that just sounds like a given it's just made for the big screen.
Well, I said a Valve game. The weird thing about making a Half-Life or Portal movie would be that Gordon Freeman and Chell don't talk. They could probably make that work though, they did in the games after all.

Well we all know Nintendo fans don't want a Metroid movie XD
Eh~ no one wants that I think, I mean, who likes that game anyway? ^.^

Metroid would make one heck of a movie, if it had the right people working on it anyway Aliens is a prime example of how awesome Metroid could be as a movie - not to mention how cinematic the games feel. Pixar could definitely pull off a Mario movie also!
As for Zelda? No thank you! I love Zelda and yet have no desire to see it become a movie. How the heck would you cast Link? Would he talk? Too many chances to screw it up.
Prince of Persia sucked the big one... But the sequel is looking much better though
I am laughing .... and yet know that would make an awesome movie! ROFLMAO
