So what games should get a movie?
I think Uncharted would be a great fit, Nolan North should be casted as Nathan Drake as he will play the role best.
Sly Cooper would make a really good movie. The games already have the story as part of the reason to buy the game. The characters are great and well voiced. I think it would have the potential to be the best animated movie ever.
I think a Valve game would make a good movie. In fact, I heard rumors of a Half-Life movie a while back.
Video games and movies don't always... mix too well, though.

Uncharted movie = a good looking guy who flirts with women and takes stuff AND he saves the world? Lol, this sounds like various movies to me. James Bond movies walk in and says, "Hi". Classic Tomb Raider movies walks in and says, "Hi" and heck... even classic Indiana Jones movies walks in and says," Hi" In a way... Uncharted movies have already been made just with a few twists on the story.
What video game do I think should get ported to movie format? Fire Emblem: Awakening. It would be funny to see intense medival action amiss all these support conversations.
I wouldn't mind if they made a Movie based on Telltale's the Walking Dead. For that matter, I would love to see Journey as a surreal and abstract animated film, I'd pay good money just to see that on the cinema.

I'm not sure how James Bond fits aside from the flirting. The Tome Raider movies aren't classics, and a Uncharted movie has much more potential and would feel different. Indiana Jones fits the best so I'm not sure why you put that last like that. I don't see why being a bit similar means a movie shouldn't be made, a lot of good movie would go unmade then. Indiana Jones hasn't been made for a while and a lot of people consider the last one to be a dissapointment (I liked it, but it's another reason for an Unchared movie ) too.
@GuyIncognito: YOu do realize that The Walking Dead is part of a multi media franchise including a TV series.
Honestly no game should be made into a movie, haven't we learned from Street Fighter, Super Mario Bros, Doom, Double Dragon, and many other bad video game movies?

@Tasuki What about Prince of Persia? That was a good video game movie. The one they made on FF7 was pretty awesome too. A lot of the franchise you mentioned don't make much sense for a movie anyway.
@Tasuki you mean the show where half of the cast is more unbearable than an obese rotting corpse wallowing in a well? Yeah, the game's take on the series trumps the show imo and can see a great movie based on that(even if it won't happen). Also, There are also great films based on video game series. I actually thought the first Mortal Kombat and the Layton movie were above average in their own merits while I found Hitman to be decent.

I don't mean to sound weird or anything... but what am I missing from a Uncharted movie? Nathan Drake is just what I said before. A good looking guy who has flings with various women (just like James Bond), he steals stuff (just like James Bond) and he saves the world (just like James Bond). How would a Uncharted movie offer more? You say "Uncharted has much more potential and would feel different"... Just what DOES a Uncharted movie bring to the table??? Sully? Oh, what a sec... Sully reminds me of Q from the James Bond series. I don't think a Uncharted movie would feel any different at all. I like Uncharted, too. I'm not trashing the Uncharted series at all. Those games are very fun and heart racing.
I just think a Uncharted movie would inevitably spin into this: some tanned guy saying quirky one-liners while he's talking to beautiful women and bad guys, going across gorgeous locations to take stuff, and ending up fighting to save the world. Don't forget that he uses guns...
What would be the difference between a Uncharted movie and a James Bond movie? Oh, thats right.. Nathan Drake has a tan and doesn't work for a British agency.
Then again.. maybe a Uncharted movie could work.... I'm thinking about it. LOL XD

LOL. The Street Fighter movies are freakin' terrible. I watch them just so I can laugh at the bad casting, the bad acting, and the bad fight scenes. Don't forget the insanly terrible Resident Evil movies.

Prince of Persia was just horrible. Watch that and than Watch The Scorpion King. They are so similar that its not funny. It looked like all Disney did was take The Scorpion King and added Prince of Persia names to it.
