"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
Metroid: Other M's "Past is Prologue" trailer by a landslide. I would say the hype that the trailer generated factored into how much I enjoyed Other M early on, second favorite Metroid at the time, and still now is within my Top 5 for the Metroid Series.
My favorite trailer for a video game that's not pre-release would be ARMS - Introducing Dr. Coyle. It's the best character reveal I've seen from Nintendo from a trailer.
Coolest trailer would be Call of Duty: Vanguard. The graphics looks realistic and it's almost a cinematic trailer. The characters, storylines, and animations are fun to watch.
The classic Sims games had some great ads and reveal trailers back in the day. They always sent my imagination running wild. And I still love those games every bit as much today.
