Well, I finally saw GotG. It was excellent and I'm so happy it lived up to the hype.. I think it easily took my favorite MCU movie spot. Not too mention it was hilarious. Groot was so lovable, hell, all the characters were. I really want to see this movie again.. I am usually super critical of movies and I couldn't find anything to pick apart in this movie. Just loved it.

I actually went to see it on a first date with this chick and it went great, so that helps. First time I've gone out with a woman in a while.. so just bragging a bit I guess, feels good. Sorry, I'm done.

Seriously though, be careful because first dates can turn into 3 kids 2 car payments and one mortgage 12 years from now. Trust me, I know these things!

I picked up Winter Solider last week and by far its my favorite MCU movie so far. The Action, story, music, all combine to make a nice spy thriller set in the Marvel Universe. It also not only made me like Falcon, but really salvages Black Widow who wasn't bad in her previous appearances but she never really got room to breathe. I think the film did the best mix of doing its own thing and referencing past events though I think in the Hydra talk it could have used a bit more reference to The Battle for New York or what happened with Thor.

But i'm looking forward to the next year of MCU based project

May 2015- Avengers: Age of Ultron

June 2015- Daredevil

July 2015- Ant-man

It came out a week earlier on digital services so I bought it on Xbox Video.

Ah, I see. Well I'm picking it up on bluray tomorrow.

Daredevil is going to have a panel next month at NYCC. Expect to see at least the suit if not a teaser trailer.

Shield starts back next week on tuesday.

I can't wait for AoS to start back up! I really want to see what direction they take the show. Plus I wonder if the show will have another major tie into one of the upcoming movies again?!

So Fox has given the date of February 12, 2016 for the Deadpool movie.

Oddly enough no cast has been revealed yet not even Ryan Reynolds.

AoS has been really good thus far! Really like where the series is going.

Me too. It's seeming a lot better than S1. Absorbing Man and Blizzard were done extremely well IMO. I think it's almost a guarantee that we'll see both of them back. I'm also looking forward to Mike Peterson/Deathlok's return.

Marvel's big event for next year is Secret Wars coming in may.

First look at Daredevil's costume for the first episode. It's based off of Miller's Man Without Fear.

Marvel is two for two this week. This was probably my favorite episode of Agents of Shield since Turn, Turn, Turn, and the Ultron trailer looks great. I wonder if they plan to change the trailer that was supposed to air alongside avengers age of ultron.

I was excited to see that a trailer was going to show during AoS next week and I also hope it's a new one as any trailer released hit YouTube in mins. That one above was cool and when he said Hulk armor I thought why does he need armor. Now I see what he meant!

WHen they said after SHIELD this past Tuesday that they were going to show a trailer for this movie after next week's episode, the friend I had over literally jumped off the couch so quick that the couch moved backwards, shouting "YEESSS" and so on. I'm looking forward to this movie quite a bit, but I'm not sure I could ever reach that level of excitement (sure looked fun though ).

Anyway, I wonder what the deal with be with SHIELD when this movie rolls around. It would be nice if they acknowledged events in the show in some way, like possibly even showing Coulson is alive, but I kind of doubt them doing that.

@Whopper744 Why would you doubt that? The Winter Soilder was basically tied into AoS so much so that you needed to see the movie the weekend it was released as to not spoil the next episode. I'm sure there will be some type of tie in if even only to mention the underground movement to rebuild Shield!

Ah, maybe I'm wrong, but I just sort of got the feeling after I saw WS on the first weekend and then that episode that while they tie into each other and you really need to see.the movies to understand parts of the show to the fullest, the movie itself didn't have any mention of Coulson or the team. Besides that fact that WS was a lot of the organization SHIELD, it didn't seem to make much references toward the show and it's characters itself as much as the show references the.movies. Does that make any sense? I could just be making stuff up

@Whopper744 Well Fury is in it in some type of roll when he seemingly stepped down and supposedly disappears so maybe we will have more of a tie in as it really seems like they need to keep the re-build process going. Who knows, maybe we will even see an appearance from members of the show this time!
