I think if disney bite the bullet cut a deal so they get streaming rights to standalone hulk but universal get box office sales dvd sales and tv royaltys hey disney could even say ok listen you do your theatrical cut but we want disney+ to have an exclusive extended cut

I feel dr who might take this route too ... Don't get me wrong a peter cushing spin off or a spin off where we see an alt 8th become the richard e grant dr would be good but dr who relies too much on story arcs as it is

Holy hell, that Loki Season 2 finale just solidified it as my favorite piece of MCU media

I just finished watching The Marvels like 15 minutes ago in-theaters, it is solid.
It’s not something truly substantial like a deep dissection of the 3s’ characters, but it is a good popcorn flick that does the main 3 justice with their characters.

The CGI is alright, nothing breathtaking, the villain is generic (they needed to flesh her out more, and where the hell are the other kree in the final battle?), the story was a bit messy, feeling like a different movie at distinct times, but overall it’s enjoyable.

I’d say it’s a 6/10 (which on my rating scale, means “Alright/Solid”), and doesn’t deserve the “woke” hate (not saying it doesn’t deserve criticism, it does for sure)

I cannot believe all it took for my MCU fixation to come roaring back was Pedro Pascal.

Not gonna lie, I kinda hate this casting. Just use the dude from Multiverse of Madness.

If I understand the multiverse right, it can just be another variant. Although each show and movie tends to play by their own rules regarding the multiverse, so who really knows at this point.

Pascal could end up being good though. I remember everyone hated Robert Pattinson as Batman, and he turned out to be really good in the role.

A lot of people are claiming this show is now a terrible piece of garbage and “”woke”” all because ONE character is non-binary, that’s right, because a SINGULAR character in the show identifies as non-binary and that’s a neat little fact offscreen.

Like, it’s utterly insane. Some of these people feel personally attacked over a fictional character identifying as non-binary, these people need to just cool down for a moment.
They claim every single piece of media released nowadays is “pure utter garbage” because of this, and this whole rageful discourse has pretty much killed any meaningful pre, active or post discussion on any media.
This sucks, I miss when we judged shows based on actual things that matter, and not the identity of a character.

If this was any other show, this would still be bad, but what makes it funny is that this show is X-MEN, yknow, the show which is an ALLEGORY for a LOT of things they’d call “woke”
Literally some of the first lines in the first comic show the allegories, it’s always been this way.

I swear, the phrase “X-Men has gone WOKE!” is literally the marvel equivalent of “Metroid is PROPAGANDA!” for Nintendo.

@DiamondCore yawn, there is always outrage at nostalgia porn like this, people want the rose tinted glasses thing they remember which is impossible as even backintheday it was not as good as they think it was.

The “When did Star Trek/X-Men/Rage Against The Machine/Star Wars/whatever become political?” meme is just tired at this point, it’s one of keywords you spot so you know not to take that person seriously.

Was Morph even a fan favourite? He died in the first episode (but came back as baddie for a few more later on) so was very low in the pecking order of popularity compared to Wolverine and Rogue.

Squirrel Girl is gonna be in "Spidey and his Amazing Friends" along with her buddy Tippy-Toe.
