I think the Kinect features were pretty sweet. And Halo 4 was awesome, I can't wait. I might get a 360 finally...
Maybe just a tad better than last year's.

Man, Microsoft blew me away for the first time in E3 history. I was completely impressed with Kinect Sports Season 3, Fable: The Journey, Kinect Dance, Kinect Disneyland Adventure, Kinect Star Wars, Minecraft and Halo 4!

With Kinect being so spectacular this year I can't wait to see what Nintendo and Sony will blow our minds away with in Sony Move and Project Cafe.

You were 'Blown Away' by Kinect? I mean really.

Yeah, they're actually doing some creative things with it. I'm still waiting to see footage of that Mech game, though. Depending on how it goes, that'd be the game that would sell me on Kinect.

does kinect take as long to register movement as it seemed?

Those are just early demoes. It has nothing to do with Kinect, just the programming. They'll probably have that worked out by the time those games come out.

I just think it's a bit too late for Motion sense technology, i mean, the Wii had it in 2006, it's like Microsoft came in 5 years late with their motion sensor. Now everyone is moving away from the idea of Motion Sense tech, i mean, it still widely exists, but it's no longer.... well... new.

I dont know if any of you all seen this one already but the new Batman: Arkham City E3 trailer is freakin sweet. Plus the new playable character makes it even sweeter.

On a side note anyone know what song that is that is played during the trailer?

I have got to get a console besides the Wii I'm really getting tired of missing out on everything.

Thats why I finally broke down and bought an Xbox 360 a couple of years ago.

Agreed and it's really neat.
They are showing even more potential out of this. Last year I was pushing it off to the side. But now I might have to just try it out.

but the way kinect uses it, it can be applied to a ton of non gaming situations. Microsoft has already released the kinect sdk for windows and all pcs next year will have a kinect camera.

I agree but Kinect Sports and the shovelware isn't doing anything to avoid that comparison.

...what world do you live in? It would be at least (conservative estimate) 5 years before even a sizable minority of PCs would have such a feature, and that's if it catches on and people actually care to use it.

Couldn't watch more than 20 minutes of Microsoft's conference... I'm really not interested a bit of Microsoft's XBOX but I still decided to take a look at what they have. First it starts with a FPS game, then there's soon more FPS games, I'm not a fan of first person shooters and that's why I don't care about Microsoft as here people with XBOX only plays those games, it's really rare to see some other games being played. It's funny now that I took a quick look what other games they have been showing, there's many games that use Kinect, I think that's pretty old as Nintendo is already showing their next new thing tomorrow but it's not my problem if it's a problem at all
I'd like to see Sony's conference even if I'm not fan of them. At least I like them better than Microsoft but as it's already almost 22:00 here in Finland, I'm going to sleep before they show up.
Gonna watch Nintendo's conference tomorrow and I'm really hoping that they're doing their best. New console is a great thing but I want to see some new surprising games too. And maybe a new Pokémon game too

I don't really understand the appeal of Kinect (except for Dance Central - holding a controller in a dancing game is kind of annoying. Using a controller as a sword, baseball bat, tennis racket, golf club, or steering wheel seems more natural than just swinging your arms around in front of a camera.

I haven't used Kinect, but based on what I've seen, I prefer Wii Motion Plus and Playstation Move for motion gaming.

I wasn't all that impressed by Microsoft's press conference this year. It wasn't as bad as last year but there wasn't anything that got me too excited. I guess the theme for Microsoft's E3 this year is Kinect (supposedly) makes everything better. I'm still on the fence about getting a Kinect. What I was really hoping for was a Kinect price drop announcement but that didn't happen unfortunately. Oh and Halo 4, 5 and 6. Cool, I guess.

@Late

Actually, they only showed 3 or 4 shooters the entire conference. Out of over a dozen games. If you'd stuck with it a little longer you would've seen some more inpressive stuff, like Tomb Raider and Mass Effect 3. Oh well.
