Nope, i wouldn't be pissed because I read and understood what the whole situation was about, got my points in on time with the clear knowledge of when the survey's would be available. What I didn't do was wait until the last week to purchase all my games and expect to take a survey that week to get to platinum and then go complain on a messageboard like it's Nintendo's fault.
That's true, you just complained on a message board about somebody else complaining on a message board. A much more noble use of your time.
I would like to add that you just subtly complained on a message board about somebody else complaining on a message board about somebody else complaining on a message board. But I'm not complaining!
Eh, I neve really bothered with club Nintendo. I have a few games added on it, but none of the prizes interested me much, save for maybe the Hanafuda cards. I'm still waiting for the day they bring Tingle's Balloon Fight to the US...
Platinum status! Hooray last minute DSi purchase! I personally am hoping for the classic controller Japan got. I don't have one yet, and I think it will be better for SNES games than my GC controllers. I would also not refuse wii points cards (i won't refuse anything, but hopefully it will be something i can reap some enjoyment from.)
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
I'm pissed. I spend a buttload of money in the last few days trying to reach platinum, but I got 590 coins! I have 4 post-play surveys I still need to take, but I can't because they never put them up, and now I'm stuck at gold!
There's no one to be pissed at other than yourself. It's not like the program and how it worked was completely unknown. I knew the day I signed up (first possible day) when the cut off day was or the general time frame because it said it on the sites when you looked up how points work! On top of that, it's also common knowledge that the surveys don't show up for weeks after purchase so you can actual give an ACCURATE survey after a month or two of play. Don't be mad at Nintendo because you couldn't or didn't have the time to figure out how it worked.
thanks for understanding, douchebag. I know that. If it happened to you do you thing you wouldn't be pissed?

I don't think I ever mentioned I was mad at Nintendo, nor am I saying the blame isn't mine. It's just kind of frustrating that I was that close.
however, one of my biggest pet peeves is when people say "I told you so" like you pretty much just did. It helps no one.
eh, it's not that big of a deal. I'm not too worried about it. I hope it's something functional though, like the SNES Wii controller Japan got or a video game soundtrack.

ditto, personally i'd like the Wii-mote style TV remote
hahaha! Thanks. But it's really not that big of a deal. I don't ever get upset, especially not over something so stupid. It would have been nice, but...meh.
Well I reached Gold Status last month. I'm very happy to be a Club Nintendo member and that Club Nintendo finally reached North America at last. Hopefully the prizes will be worth all the effort I put into reaching Gold status BTW. To bad they won't be giving away a gold nuncheck or a classic Nintendo64 game. It seems as if the Japanese Nintendo Club members get the best rewards.

One of my pet peeves is people telling me their pet peeves. i could care less, but thanks for being pretenious enough to think anyone cared that you were peeved by me (btw, whole lotta sarcasm in that to those who want to post that I was a hypocrite again...I'm well aware of it).
Anyways, back to the topic at hand...I would love the SNES controller. To be honest, I'm just happy to get whatever they send for free. I mean, we never had a program like this, I think it's an ok problem, and for the fact we never had it and Nintendo instituted it is appreciation enough from Nintendo. Although...look up my eBay post if I receive a Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack that otherwise would never be played
