yay! i'm a platinum member

I haven't joined Club Nintendo because of lack of good prizes. Show me a better prize,and I'll consider joining Nintendo!

Oh my god have you seen the Mario Galaxy Kite on UK club Nintendo. This is the first time I regret swapping my stars for points.

I ended up with:

Nintendo DS Lite Game Card and Stylus Set (Super Mario Bros. Theme)

Wii Remote Holder

I know neither product is much and the Game & Watch collection is the top in the US, but come on people. You seem to want to rant and complain and create ridiculous petitions online and truly believe Nintendo and the other developers will listen. Do things the right way! Sign up and complete the reviews and surveys! That is how they do research!

No, they are odds and ends that I have ordered, they have not told us about the Gold and Platinum prizes yet. Last year in Japan, they received a gold plated, I am sure fake gold, along with a life size wearable Mario hat. Yes, not much, but what do you expect? They are free!

i'd prefer something a bit more useful, like......5000 Nintendo points for the Wii & DSi shops!

yea that would be more reasonable, Maybe 2000 points for Gold members, and 3000 for platinum members (that would sound reasonable)

Or they could just max out the Wii Shop Channel and DSi Shop accounts of us loyal Platinum members.

First, the mario hat was a plush hat. Not a wearable hat. Second, I could go for the old school classic controller that was given out. Third, what a pointless message and email I received. I mean, did Nintendo really have to notify me of something I already knew and then tell me that the prizes would be announced in a month!? Just wait till the end of July! I'm sorry, if you needed an email to verify your status then you probably should be at home coloring because you're not smart enough to play the games you're registering when your status is plastered ON THE REGISTRATION SITE.

I got Platinum. For some reason I think the reward is going to be either a game only accessible trough Club Nintendo like Game and Watch or its just going to be a bunch of accessories.

some accessories wouldn't be bad if we can use them on the Wii or DS

wait, Im a platinum member (1530 coins) and I never got that e-mail. Maybe it just hasn't gone through yet

Not received an email yet, but at least the site confirms your status from the previous year. Platinum rewards for the Japan club in the past have included the aforementioned hat cushion, a Wii TV remote, gold Mario Kart steering wheel shell, the Wii SFC controller, Super Mario Galaxy CD, DS Tingle Balloon Fight and the gold Mario statue. Hopefully the US version will be something along those lines...
