It would be a horrible generalization on my part to assume that all of you here are in possession of a smartphone or tablet. As a result, I will not make such an assumption.

For those of you who do have a smartphone or tablet, I'm sure you are familiar with the App Store, Google Play, and the others and I'm sure you may have downloaded an app or two.

My request from you all is that you post what your favorite app is at this time and which OS it is available on (iPhone, Android, etc.)

At the moment, my favorite comes from the Google Play Store on Android. It is an app called Google Keep and it's pretty much Post-it Notes for my phone and tablet. Considering I check the dang thing all of the time, it's hard for me to fall behind. That and the widget is pretty cool. .

ReRave for all iOS, hopefully Android soon. It's a rhythm game created by Kyle Ward and Chris Foy.

This is a signature.
Link goes here now.
Screw you.

How much is reRave on iPad? I love rhythm games!

Also, a great and addictive game for Android devices is a game called Game Dev Story Lite. It's a free game and it has you as the head guy in charge of a budding game company.

I forget how much the full version is, but it's so dang addictive I actually payed for the full version a while back.

NHK World (iOS for sure, but others too, I think) - Learn about Japanese culture through programs like Tokyo Eye, BEGIN Japanology, J-Melo, Journeys in Japan, Imagine-Nation, & more! Also catch up on the latest news in Japan with Newsline, every half hour.

Chaos Rings (iOS) - Fantastic Square Enix JRPG, which is so good, you'll forget you're playing it on a mobile device! (it has a prequel & a sequel, which I hear are great as well).

:SHIFT: (iOS) - surprisingly fun little platformer with a twist, which plays well (it also has a sequel, I believe).

@RR529

Chaos Rings is a great game. I liked FF Dimensions as well! Also, will Tokyo Eye help teach me Japanese or is it based on the culture alone?

Tokyo Eye just talks about various things to do & see around Tokyo, or the city's culture in general (they had one episode featuring general use phrases tourists will find useful though, so I imagine they'll do more stuff like that eventually).

They do have other programs teaching Japanese phrases & the like, but they're short, & I never seem to catch them, lol. (I believe they do have free audio lessons you can download, but you'll have to go to their website to get those).

Anyone else been playing the new Sonic the hedgehog game.

WAT!

Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.

Ah, thanks @RR529 for that. I think I will still give it a go because I do plan on visiting Japan one day. It would be nice knowing a little about city-life there and such.

@Sony_70 I just downloaded it on the iPad Mini. I'm very surprised by how well this plays.

Just be sure to remember that you can't necessarily watch the programs at your leisure. They come on at specific times, so you need to figure out when they come on. Their website has a listing of when their shows come on (times are listed in Japan's time zone).

I personally love Tiny Tower, Whale Trail, One Epic Knight, Running With Friends, and Mini Golf Matchup.
They are all on iOS for sure, but I'm not sure about other devices.
And best of all, these are all free! I mostly play free apps.

Do you truly look at things positively? For example, do you look at the glass like it's always full? (Half water, half air.) Or when someone "lets the cat out of the bag," do you think it's because the person felt sorry for the cat stuck in the bag? There is a positive side to almost everythin...

Great finds @crazybrain1! Finding good free iOS apps is always a great thing! Also, all except Running With Friends seem to be on my Android phones

Speaking of Android, Chrome has just been updated. They have a new tab system on smartphones and you can see your tab history by holding down the back button on the tablet versions.

I really enjoy Nimble Quest, its very fun to play, perfect for short bursts!
Plus, they got the free to play model right, it never forces you to buy things, you can get everything by playing.

IGOR!

I never even heard of Nimble Quest before and it looks like it's too much dang fun. It's like it's almost snake, but with more umph in it. Nice pick @CorporalPegasus.

I just downloaded Punch Quest today, too. The music isn't the best to me, but other than that, it's not a bad game for 99 cents.
