You don't count woman! Just kidding. Consider me jelous. Born in 79' i take it? Damn I'd rather be 32 than 27 and to have more of those preciously awesome 80's memories. sigh*
Damn, now I feel like rocking some Wii Virtual Console goodness while blasting Ozzy Ozbourne and Van Halen.
I was born in 79! I have tons of great memories of the 80's. The Nes Debut and basically the begining of gaming in general as well as all those great Metal bands and Tv shows like Knight Rider! Strangly I can't remember anything from last month.

Yeah He-man was pretty awesome back in the day! I've been watching the series on Netflix. Now there was a cartoon that entertained and even tried to teach you values and morals. How many kids shows do that these days? None that I've seen. Not to turn this thread into an 80's discussion but man I loved growing up in those days!

I am surprised that as big as He-man was that they never had a He-man game for the NES back then, that would have been cool
The thing is He Man was only around for 2 season surprisingly. The final episode aired December 8th 1985. The NES wasnt even 2 months old at that time. By the time the NES gained its popularity He Man was a thing of the past all of us He Men were now Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
@Waveboy: Yep I remember Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors in fact I have the series on DVD.

Well cartoon seasons usually have many more episodes than a regular show. The second season of Transformers had like 40 episodes. Normally on sitcoms and stuff it's about only 15 to 20 shows per season.

yeah, that makes sense. I always noticed too that time seemed longer when I was little, so it might have just seemed like it was on longer than it actually was.

I started Kindergarten that year. Don't remember much gaming-wise other than Spyro and the third Crash game. TV wasn't too bad. My favorite shows were Rugrats, Dexter's Laboratory and Thundercats (yeah I know that's an 80's cartoon but Cartoon Network used to show ruruns of it back then). Can't remember absolutely anything music wise.

@Tasuki Nice! That's definitly going to be one of my next Retro purchases. And I really need to get The Legend of Zelda Cartoon as well.
Yep I have the entire Zelda cartoon series as well. I also have the season 1-4 of the original TMNT cartoon as well. What can I say I love my retro cartoons.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
