Yeah, I remember 98. It was my first year at college. Good times.

1998 was the year Spice Girls broke up.
It still hurts.

I was like 7/8, all I remember is video games, Nickelodeon and playing soccer and elementary school and stuff. Nothing major with world news or "more mature than Disney" pop culture that I honestly remember.

Great year for games, bad for me. My neighbor got drunk and shot my black lab in retaliation for me breaking his window with a football the week prior. Pretty rough scene for a 10 year old to find in his backyard.

I'm another one born in 98.

I started law school in the fall of '98, spent an insane amount of time playing WCW vs nWo Revenge. And Zelda (duh).

The summer before school began, i was working at a video store (being transferred to a downstate location for the chain i worked for upstate in college), and they wanted to make me a manager and take over a location in NYC ... i was just like "Umm ... no. I'll stick with law school."

What a mistake.
