Whoa I didnt know there was an Anime thread. Hm.. the only ones I watch are: Kenichi: Historys Strogest Desciple, Naruto Shippuden, Fullmetal Alchemest, Used to watch Grappler Baki, Bleach rarely, Hellsing, Devil May Cry.
Anime I hate: I hate DBZ becuase they would spend like 3 episode powering up or chargeing for an attack. Pokemon (evey season after 3 I think), I used to be a fan but now... Digimon,

Lol, nice one. Just beware though of the price (Nearly £20 for Voices, £14 for PPIOED on Amazon iirc). I'm a bit hesitant at buying those right now to say the least

EDIT: Ended up buying Only Yesterday, Kiki's Delivery Service, Tales from Earthsea and Spirited Away from Play.com £28 for 4 DVDs isn't bad going That should serve as a suitable distraction whilst everyone else is playing Portal 2 (which makes my comp vomit smoke if I even think about it, lol). How long does Play usually take to deliver?
Animes I've watched: Clannad, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fairy Tail, School Rumble, and Full Metal Panic! (Hated the ending of Full Metal Panic! _) I HIGHLY recommend Clannad! The second season: Clannad After Story will definitely have you in tears. I've only watched the first season of Code Geass so far. Planning on watching the second soon but I've heard rumors that there's going to be a third season... Is this true? o-o

"space" is a bit genre-non-specific though, it could be anything from epic space opera to slice of life, if you narrow it down I could give better suggestions. Or do you just want an anime about the vastness of space?

I have never heard of any of those shows, and that makes me sad.
Actually, the only anime I've been watching is Pokemon, mostly to check out the Rare Pokemon from Johto. It's actually been mildly entertaining so far, but I don't think I'll watch anymore of it. It's really repetitive. I'm thinking of picking Gaiking Back up if I can.
I may have been reluctant to buy PPIOED and Voices at their prices but I did just buy End Of Evangelion for about £13. Cheapest I'd seen it beforehand outside eBay auctions was £20 so I snapped that up, completing my Evangelion DVD collection (Death & Rebirth being the exception) until Rebuild 2.22 comes out here next month.
So, I know this isn't anime but I thought some of you might be interested. There's a fairly new live action adaptation of "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" set around the daughter of the original novel's protagonist, where she travels back 40 years in search of the mystey man from her mother's past. Some of you guys may have already heard about it but there's a newly announed DVD release coming out in the UK on May 2nd so I wanted to just give you guys a heads up

Hey guys! I'm collecting Ghibli movies and I'm planning to get a new one to increase my collection . I have Howl's, Ponyo, Ocean Waves, Totoro, Spirited Away, The Cat returns, Grave of the fireflies, Pompoko, tales from earthsea, Laputa, Whisper of the heart and My neighbours the Yamada. I'm doubting between getting Kiki's delivery service, Nausicäa o Porco Rosso (Mononoke's one for sure ). Which one you reccomend considering I love Whisper of the Heart, Howl's, Totoro and Spirited Away? Thank you so much!!

This. I love that movie, never could get into Nausicaa, and only saw 20 minutes on Pocco Rosso and those weren't, like, the greatest 20 minutes ever or anything.
I was looking for news for my anime site, and came across a new, legal, simulcast streaming service for the UK. AnimeNewsNetwork and KAZE teamed up to create it, and it seems pretty awesome
EDIT: Just watched the first episode of of an anime called 'C'. It only debuted in Japan last week, and so far it's pretty damn good. Think I'm gonna have to get a season pass for this thing~

I actually preferred Duel Monsters. Yu-Gi-Oh took things way too seriously for a show about a freakin' card game. Duel Monsters felt more like a parody and really nailed it. It felt exactly like what a show about a card game should be: one big, fat joke.

Except (I'm assuming you're referring to the same original series I'm talking about, from 1998) that the original Yu-Gi-Oh was from before the series was about the card game. Yes, the game did appear more in the original series than the manga, but only in episodes involving Kaiba.
The only reason I don't like Duel Monsters is because I've only seen the 4Kids dub.

Sorry, I got confused. I was talking about Dual Masters. It's been so long since I watched either of them, I got the title confused. If you haven't seen it, look it up, it's actually pretty good.
