...I actually did plan on watching both eventually before I watched that boring anime...

they aren't boring, mostly unrelatable or constantly use lame poetry instead of dialogue real people would ever say right? Because I'm willing to hate any anime like that if they all are that bad.

Regardless though, everyone reading this who isn't a horrible person should be watching Detective Conan. Many people haven't seen it, which makes me very sad as someone that doesn't despise all of humanity.

Well, you started with the weakest of the "KeyAni" trio at least. By the gods, Kanon and Clannad are leagues better than Air.

Well Un-Go! has turned out to be a marvelous anime although the whole boy transforming into a girl thing is quite disturbing.

I've discovered a new anime that looks marvelous called 'Redline' which is sort of a move over Speed Racer and the Nintendo classic 'F-Zero'.

The anime has marvelous kinectic action and animation which is delivered in a pop star blur of color and speed. Redline comes to us via the marvelous mind of Takeshi Koike, the director of the Animatrix and it has appeal for both children and adults. Even you're not into racing this anime is at lest worth a peek as it's surefire eyecandy. This anime has a lot of tender loving care behind it as 100,000 hand crafted drawings were utilized in the animation process as it took seven years to create the Redline movie which kicks off the the anime series. The movie has already been released on DVD and Blu-Ray in Japan and is now slated for a subtitled release here in the United States later this year.

I really and truly hope that someone like CrunchryRoll or Hulu will carry the entire Redline anime here in North America and the UK.

One Piece is not an American TV show. Just because Fox or CN or whoever aired it there cancelled it doesn't mean it ceased to exist.
Nor is any anime asides Avatar: The Last Airbender.

It turns out that Redline is available online with English subtitles that look quite authentic. There is also a Redline DVD on Amazon with English subs that doesn't look like it is authentic but the official Blu-Ray for Redline is scheduled for 2012 according to Amazon.

Avatar is not Japanese, therefore it is not a real anime. Same with Teen Titans.

And I never mentioned One Piece being American. I know the show is from Japan. Give me a little credit for once, I'm not that ignorant, I don't work for IGN.

Anime is technically short for animation so like all moving pictures are anime(shun) :3

If people don't drop the argument about ThunderCats, Silverhawks, Teen Titans and Avatar The Last Airbender NOT being anime then I seriously know that they need to go home and call a therapist!

What about Transformers (the original cartoon from the '80s)?

The 80's Transformers didn't come off as being anime to me in my humble opinion.

Transformers had an anime adaptation. Just like Iron man and Wolverine.

I'm not sure. I don't think the transformer one is. Toonami use to show it though. So it could be on DVD. As for Iron man and Wolverine I think one may be on Funimation's site.

Hey, anyone remember that children's book series called Magic Tree House? Yeah, that's getting an anime.

And on The Topic of Code Geass: I really hope the series abandons the whole high-school-romance-and-comedy angle forever. It's stupid and it distracts from the important part of the series, which is the tactics-vs.-tactics action and the "How do I make sure no-one knows who I am?" trickery.

Whoa, that Magic Tree House anime looks pretty fantastic! You can tell just from the animation that it's not just a random cash in with no effort put into it. I hope it gets brought over here, it would be a huge hit with kids. I loved those books when I was little, I didn't know they were still around let alone that the Japanese knew about it. XD
